Venus Williams seems to be feeling a lot more comfortable and she has that confidence back and in that second set she has made seven out of her seven approaches to the net and hit 17 winners.

The roles have reversed from the opening set.

Serious pressure on the Broady second serve. Raonic attacks it, sends the Brit deep and then takes a couple of mammoth strides into the net before tickling over a drop shot.

Victoria Azarenka is just over a year into her comeback after taking maternity leave following the birth of her son, Leo.

She reached the semi-final at Miami this year but other than that, it's been slim pickings for the Belarusian. She's up a break against Ekaterina Alexandrova, though, in the second set.

Broady was pretty good and Raonic average, but Raonic got the serve and you would expect him to kick on, that confidence from winning the first set will free his movement up. Broady is always going to struggle to keep up because he doesn't have that big weapon.

Sam Querrey, who got married to Abby Dixon last month, said he postponed his honeymoon plans to step up his grass-court preparations for Wimbledon.

"We went home for three days and flew over for Queen's, if you count that as a honeymoon," said the American,

"I don't think Abby does. Maybe at the end of the year we will do a honeymoon somewhere close to where we live."

He fired 15 aces on his way to a 6-2 6-4 6-3 victory over Australian Jordan Thompson.

A touch of frustration from Liam Broady, Milos Raonic has started the second set with the same ferocious intent as he finished the first.

The Canadian sizzles his way to a love hold with his ninth ace of the match.

After that odd first game, it's back to normality for Caroline Wozniacki.

It might be glorious sunshine but a lot of people are having to hold on to their hats on Court One. It is surprisingly windy, which is probably the last thing Liam Broady needs when he is dealing with Milos Raonic’s 135mph-plus serves.

After a dreadful first set, Varvara Lepchenko has broken Caroline Wozniacki in the first game of the second set. A gift from Wozniacki, who looked distracted throughout the service game.

But now it's Raonic on the offensive, first with the volley and then with a tricky slice that forces Broady long.

And over on Court 18, Victoria Azarenka has taken the lead, winning the first set on a tie-break.

Azarenka hasn't lost in the first round at Wimbledon since she made her debut here in 2006. The former world number one has slipped to 87th in the world rankings.

Broady is doing well, we talked about the difference in speed of the serves, but he is getting in 70 percent of his first serves and winning 76 percent when it goes in, which is a good platform to play from.

Double fault from Milos Raonic, his second of the day, and Liam Broady will be relieved to see that bullet drive cracking the net rather than storming in his direction.

The Canadian re-tunes his racquet, whips down a 138mph wrist-snapper that Broady can barely blink at, and holds serve.
