He puts in a double fault and a couple of casual groundstrokes on the next point which Norrie attacks to go 30-0 up.

It's almost as if he wants to be off in time for Dan Evans.
Vesely v Evans
Over on court 10, British number two Dan Evans is heading out into the Queens sunshine for his opener against Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic.
This is only the second time the pair have met, with Vesely winning on that occasion back in 2017.
Five years on, this is their first meeting at a Slam and Evans - who reached the fourth round last year - is seeded 20th.

Cam Norrie gave Benoit Paire the slightest of chances as he missed a backhand to put the Frenchman 30-15 up.
It looks as if the British number one will quickly quell the challenge, until he misses the same shot again and it's deuce.

World number one Iga Swiatek hasn't had much success in New York up until now but she's safely through to round two, having seen off Italy's Jasmine Paolini 6-3 6-0 on Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Also moving on with little fuss is American eighth seed Jessica Pegula, a 6-2 6-2 victor over Viktorija Golubic.
Sixth seed Aryna Sabalenka has just finished off Catherine Harrison 6-1 6-3 on court 10 so Britain's Dan Evans will be in action shorty against Czech Jiri Vesely.
Elsewhere, Latvian 16th seed Jelena Ostapenko is into a final set, having split the first two 6-3 apiece with Qinwen Zheng.
Two-time Grand Slam champion Garbine Muguruza leads Dane Clara Tauson 6-3 3-3 and Karolina Pliskova has just been taken to a final set by Magda Linette.
Men's third seed Carlos Alcaraz is already on court - he's 3-3 in the first set against Sebastian Baez.

This match will be over in 10 minutes - and that is not even an exaggeration as the first set was 17 minutes.
Paire enjoys the creativity side of things, playing in front of a crowd - but where is that being shown today. He's not showing his best tennis to the crowd, He's just trying to get off court as quick as he can.

After looking like he's given up on the match entirely in the previous match, Benoit Paire decides to play again and gets 30-0 up on Cam Norrie's serve.
A couple of errors later it's 30-30 and a forehand into the net from Paire gives Norrie another hold.
