    China are one step closer to a clean sweep in the Olympic table tennis after winning gold in the men’s team event, beating Sweden 3-0.

    Five-time Olympic gold medallist Ma Long and world number one Wang Chuqin won a tight opening doubles in the fifth game over Anton Kallberg and Kristian Karlsson, taking the match 8-11 11-4 11-3 6-11 11-7.

    World number three Fan Zhendong beat Truls Moregard 10-12 11-8 11-9 11-13 11-5 before Wang returned to clinch the gold with a victory over Kristian Karlsson 11-9 11-5 10-12 10-12 11-2.

    Earlier, France’s 17-year-old Felix Lebrun helped the hosts claim the bronze medal. His brother Alexis Lebrun paired up with Simon Gauzy in the opening doubles match for a win, before Felix Lebrun put the hosts 2-0 up.

    Shunsuke Togami and Tomokazu Harimoto put Japan level, with Felix Lebrun winning the final match to claim a second medal in Paris, to go with his bronze on the men’s singles.

    "They all know who they are. It has been a huge team effort and I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the last two seasons without them.

    "It has taken a village [to get her there] and my boyfriend has a restaurant in mind and has done a big group meal. One of the restaurant owners called me over and was like ‘that’s my restaurant, I’ll see you tomorrow. I’m in for a big feed!"

    Breaking has its first Olympic champion - Japan's Ami!

    The 25-year-old beat Lithuania's Nicka in an exhilarating final battle, where they both pulled out some of their best skills in a frenzied display.

    Ami hugs her team and is congratulated by NIcka. All that posturing the b-girls do in the battles is just an act - they have a lot of respect for each other.

    Rai Benjamin is straight over to bell - he ain't hanging around for his winning moment. Ding, ding, ding it goes and a megawatt smile is flashed to the crowd. The American clocked a season-best time of 46.46 seconds on his way to victory.

    Karsten Warholm misses out on gold! It's the American Rai Benjamin who claims the top prize in Paris!

    Warholm flew out of the blocks but when it came down to the final 150m, Benjamin began to accelerate away from the Norwegian, who has to settle for silver.

    Brazil's Alison dos Santos takes the bronze medal.

    "In the lead-up to these Games all I've been saying is that's what I want, obviously I wanted a medal but I just wanted to have a chance at the start of the 800m and that's what I had.

    "It was a very far off chance - eight seconds - but that's what this sport is, it's about getting to this point and seeing whose got it at the end."

    And it is gold for Netherlands!

    Heartbreak for China.

    After trailing for the majority of the match and relying on a late equaliser to take it to the shootout, the Dutch used all the their experience to take the win in the shootout.

    They kept their cool to take it 3-1 and in doing so they complete the Dutch golden double after the men's team took gold in the their final.

    As for China, they match the silver they won at their home games in 2008.

    Megan Keith deserves for everyone to stand up because this is hard. She could of given up but she didn't, she got here but she's clearly not at her best.

    She's had such a phenomenal year and this is her first ever serious senior level competition and her first British vest ever.
