Women's floor final

Commonwealth Games gold-winning gymnast on BBC TV
Romanian gymnastics are back for sure, two fabulous floor routines!
Women's floor final
Well, Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade have stunned as the most consistent gymnasts in Paris but we've also been treated to a glimpse at the future of the sport.
Italy's Manila Esposito won bronze on the beam at just 17 years old, and Romania's Sabrina Maneca-Voinea of the same age scores 13.700 to go fourth here on floor. Her team-mate, Ana Barbosu, is also only 18 and is clinging on to the bronze as things stand.
Just Jordan Chiles of the USA to come. Can she unsettle the podium?

Medal winning gymnast in three Olympic Games on BBC Radio 5 Live
Well done, I'm standing up to give Simone Biles a clap.
What a fantastic Olympic and gymnastics career. A pioneer of the sport, she has pushed what was possible.
However, there were a lot of deductions to take from that routine.
Women's floor final
It's 14.133! Silver for Biles as it stands!
Rebeca Andrade of Brazil remains in the top spot and with two competitors to go, she is guaranteed a medal.

Lovely height on her leaps. Controls the squat spin. Such an impressive tumble and what a great landing.
A style all of her own and the most outstanding tumbling we’ve seen in women’s gymnastics.

Commonwealth Games gold-winning gymnast on BBC TV
Remarkable pressure to be under. It's going to be close but I think she might just edge it.
Women's floor final
The height and power of Simone Biles' tumbles just defies belief, but it costs her a couple of deductions with two steps out of the area.
However, she gets such high scores for difficulty that she can afford a few blemishes. It's an enormous routine, a showstopper.
Rebeca Andrade is the first to stand and applaud, appreciating the greatness that we have witnessed in this Games.
The scoring awaits...

Simone Biles was all smiles when she was presented to the crowd at the Bercy Arena. You would never know that just over an hour ago she left it looking very unhappy after a frustrating beam final.

Two very solid dives from the British pair to kick things off.
Lois Toulson scores 58.50 for her forward three-and-a-half somersaults before a brilliant armstand back double somersault with one-and-a-half twists from Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix scores her a massive 76.80 and that puts her top for now.
Remember the top 12 go through to the final.

London 2012 bronze medallist on BBC TV
Rebeca Andrade has been on an interesting journey. She has snapped her ACL three times and has constantly come back and looked so strong.
She has been the gymnast that has been able to challenge Simone Biles.
Women's floor final
Two more beautiful routines!
Romania's Ana Barbosu scores 13.700 to put her in second place, and beam champion Alice D'Amato isn't far behind with 13.600 to go into third.
Rebeca Andrade remains at the top, for now.
Three gymnasts to come, the next one is a certain Simone Biles for her last performance of Paris 2024.

It's such a hot day today, this pool in front of me is looking incredibly inviting.
Almost inviting enough for me to wonder whether I would dare to jump off the 10m platform just so that I could cool off.
I'm not sure, to be honest. It's bloomin' high.
Canoe Slalom - Kayak cross
Jonathan Jurejko
BBC Sport at Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium
Arrived at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium. Rolls off the tongue, eh.
The business end of the kayak cross starts at 14:30 BST, culminating with the women's final at 15:55 and the men's final at 16:00.
Three Brits - reigning world champion Kimberley Woods, Mallory Franklin and three-time world champion Joe Clarke - are scrapping for medals.
Here's what is coming up (all times in BST)...
14:30 - women's quarter-finals
14:52 - men's quarter-finals
15:15 - women’s semi-finals
15:28 - men’s semi-finals
15:55 - women’s final
16:00 - men’s final
Four paddlers go in each race with the first two qualifying for the next stage.
The first three in the finals, obviously, win the medals.

Rina Kishi's routine finishes with a very dramatic fall to the ground - but it is part of the routine, which is good as we really have seen a lot of unintentional falls here today.
Women's floor final
China's Ou Yushan scores 13.000, with a step out of the area bringing her a deduction in an otherwise tidy routine.
Rina Kishi of Japan follows, and the 16-year-old stutters on a couple of landings but strings together tumbles of immense difficulty.
She scores 13.166 to go into second place, followed by Yushan, and Brazil's Rebeca Andrade keeps top spot.
Romania's Ana Barbosu and newly crowned beam champion Alice D'Amato are up next, and then it's Simone Biles time.

There are nine gymnasts in this final rather than eight because these next two gymnasts, Japan's Rina Kishi and Romania's Ana Barbosu, both scored the same in qualifying. So, that's fans getting more for their money but gymnasts having more scores to beat.

Nearly ready to get going at the Aquatics Centre where the women's 10m platform semi-final is almost under way.
Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix is in action along with her synchro partner Lois Toulson.
The pair did of course win bronze in the synchro event but are looking to qualify for tomorrow's final here.
Numbers were already cut from 30 to 18 this morning. And now we'll see them cut again to 12 for Tuesday's final.
