It's getting very edgy now - and understandably so.

This frame and the next are massive.

The butterflies are really fluttering now, both players are missing shots or running out of position regularly.

You find out about yourself here. Until you prove you're a winner here in the final, you're only of a certain level.

This is the biggest test Kyren has come up against.

He looked invincible in the first session but all of a sudden he's being asked questions that he hasn't been asked all tournament - it's a shock to the system.

Once again, Kyren Wilson is the first man in the balls in frame 24 after Jak Jones misses a long red to leave a straight mid-distance pot.

But the man from Kettering again falls short positionally. He plays a decent safety but Jak Jones flukes a red with a bit of a mis-hit reply.

But the luck cancels out as he misses the blue and knocks in a red to foul.

Remember, Jak Jones was 7-0 down. He's now only three frames behind. Comeback.

Don't you just love the World Championship final over two days?

Snooker is a long burn, a slow burn, but how beautiful is it to watch the twists and turns?

If you cut this down to a best-of-19, you wouldn't get anywhere near the storylines. Long may it continue.

Everybody is invested in this now - it may not be the best snooker but it doesn't matter. Who knows what is going to happen?

Kyren is not taking the chances he was taking earlier in the event - in the last two frames in particular. And that's giving encouragement to his opponent.

It's the first time I'm thinking there are one or two cracks in what Kyren has been doing. Generally when it's been happening, he's found a little bit somewhere and won the next frame. It will be interesting to see if he does the same.

Aaron, London: You know I have one more world championship than you Mr Davis.

Euan Gregor, Rickmansworth: You're not very good at drawing escape routes Hendry!

Anon: I'm sure that's my jacket.

Another frame where Kyren had a chance and failed to convert.

This will just give more and more hope to Jak Jones.

He keeps getting first chance in the frames, Kyren but not converting them.

In goes the penultimate red and Kyren Wilson will not be returning to the table.

Jak Jones closes to within three frames, what a final this is turning into.

Jak Jones doesn't let that little pause upset his rhythm, although he's a tad lucky to land on an easy red after a slight positional lapse.

Rolls in a black off the spot to go 45 ahead with 43 on.

Unfortunately, there is an interruption as someone in the Crucible feels unwell.

A short break while they leave the arena, best wishes to them.

It's only a brief interlude and we're quickly back under way.

    Wilson 13-9 Jones

A couple of very well-judged cannons into the pack have really given Jak Jones the chance to turn this visit into a frame-winning one.

His lead is up to 23, just a case of picking off the reds and maintaining position.

Once again, though, Kyren Wilson cannot capitalise fully, breaking down on 22 by missing a red to middle.

Can Jak Jones punish the mistake and get back within three frames, as he did earlier this afternoon at 11-8?

  17. 'Sign of enormity of situation'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 6 May

    Wilson 13-9 Jones

    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC Two

I think that was a real sign of the enormity of the situation. He realises if he is to have any chance in this final, he needs to win this session, to win two of these last three frames at least.

  18. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 6 May

    Wilson 13-9 Jones

Kyren Wilson eyes a very difficult plant to start frame 23 and hits it far too thick, meaning the cue ball does not get back to the baulk area.

It leaves Jak Jones a choice of mid-distance reds - he pots one but then misses a straight blue to the corner, much like he did in an earlier frame.

It's always the last mistake that costs you - and Kyren made the last mistake in that frame.

  20. 'Wilson has to be a bit worried'published at 14:59 British Summer Time 6 May

    Stephen Hendry

Every credit to Jak Jones - from 7-0 down he's taken nine of the next 15 frames.

If you're Kyren Wilson and you're thinking about that, you've got to be a little bit worried.

Obviously he's still got the four-frame lead but this final could have been a lot more comfortable for him.
