Daniil Medvedev makes the most of those break points as Jannik Sinner once again finds the net.

Sinner has responded by calling out the physiotherapist - the Italian doesn't look 100% right now.

    Alcaraz v Paul

Reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz and American 12th seed Tommy Paul are just warming up on Court One.

Paul said before the match he expects there to be fireworks when the pair battle for a semi-final spot.

“We both play a pretty aggressive style of tennis,” the 27-year-old said.

“He’s been playing pretty well and ultra aggressive. It’s fun for people to watch. Honestly, it’s fun to play against. I’m really excited for the match-up.”

Jannik Sinner puts too much power on a forehand to bring the scores to 15-15, before Daniil Medvedev shows great defence and control to force the Italian into the same mistake again.

A mistimed drop shot from Sinner then brings Medvedev two break points.

It could be a great sporting day for Spain as their best tennis player could make the men's semi-finals at Wimbledon and their football team could reach the final of Euro 2024.

Carlos Alcaraz, the reigning Wimbledon champion, is second on Court One today against American 12th seed Tommy Paul so should be finished in time to watch Spain play their Euro 2024 semi-final against France at 20:00.

After his four-set victory over French 16th seed Ugo Humbert on Sunday, Alcaraz said: “Hopefully on Tuesday we are not going to play at the same time, but let’s see. Hopefully I will be able to see a little bit of the match.

“I have a really good relationship with a few players of the team. In particularly, with Alvaro Morata. He’s a really good friend. I know they are supporting me when I’m playing matches or I’m playing tournaments. It’s my turn."

Alcaraz has already won three Grand Slams at the age of 21 and takes on Paul, who is enjoying his best run in this tournament.

    Alcaraz v Paul

Carlos Alcaraz and Tommy Paul have just stepped out of the locker room and are about to make their way on to Court One.

The pair have played each other four times with both players winning two matches apiece. The last of those meetings was in Cincinnati in 2023 which was won by Alcaraz.

This will, however, be the first time they have ever met on grass.

    Patient work from Daniil Medvedev.

The Russian fifth seed takes his opportunity early doors before grinding the rest of the set out.

He doesn't get much thanks from the crowd, though. They've made their mind up to favour the world number one.

Sinner's intensity level has dropped significantly. Even shows in the pace of shot.

This might be the game where his game had hit rock bottom and he is on the way back up again.

'She can't believe it!' - Vekic defeats Sun

Donna Vekic is through to her first Grand Slam semi-final.

A mightily impressive surge to the last four from the Croat. She came from a set down to edge a tight second before running away with it in the third.

A brilliant achievement for the world number 37 but it's the end of the road, for this Wimbledon at least, for Lulu Sun.

The qualifier from New Zealand has played superbly and if she maintains this sort of form, this won't be her last major quarter-final.

Two break points for Daniil Medvedev, both saved by Jannik Sinner.

The world number one then plays a glorious backhand drop shot which brings gasps from the crowd - is there anything more satisfying in tennis than a perfect drop shot?

Sinner goes on to secure the hold as Medvedev overcooks a forehand.

Lulu Sun might well be on her way out but she is not just going to hand the match to Donna Vekic.

The New Zealand qualifier holds to love to avoid the bagel and force Vekic to try and serve it out.

There's no stopping Donna Vekic at the moment.

Lulu Sun is giving it her all and does take this game to 40-30, the closest she got to the Vekic serve in this set, but the qualifier's memorable run at these Championships looks to be coming to an end.

Vekic is one game away from victory, Sun will serve to stay in the match.
