Truro City have signed Oxford City's Tom Harrison on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old defender had been on loan at the National League South club since the end of November and had been due to return to Oxford next month.

But the former Bristol City academy player - who helped Oxford win promotion from National League South last season - has impressed in his time at the Cornish club.

"I've been here on loan for a few weeks and really enjoyed it," he said.

"The lads have been really welcoming. We've had a few decent results in there as well. I'm looking to push on now and am delighted to get the deal over the line."

His signing follows news that leading goalscorer Tyler Harvey and manager Paul Wotton have both signed new contracts after the club was taken over by the Canadian owners of Cornwall's rugby league side.
