Another night of agony in the final third for Tranmere against Salford as it ends 0-0.

The 400th Friday night match at Prenton Park didn’t quite live up to the occasion and it’s a third goalless draw of the season for Rovers, who have only scored three times in seven games.

Salford haven’t fared too much better in front of goal, scoring only four times in League Two so far.

Nigel Adkins at least stops the run of two consecutive defeats and the point lifts Tranmere one place higher into 15th. Salford climb up to 13th.

Fourteen corners for Luton now, eight of them since the break.

Alfie Doughty's put some miles in from corner flag to corner flag alone, but another wicked delivery fails to cause Plymouth any real problems and is hacked away.

Well that goal quietened the Home Park faithful.

Michael Obafemi felt he was fouled in the build-up but it was a great finish by the former Chelsea and Liverpool man.

The 11th Luton corner is met my Mark McGuinness again but his header is blocked and Argyle are able to scramble away.
