    Everton 3-0 Wolves

Matheus Cunha looks to spark some life into Wolves. He sprints past Everton players down the left flank, but is crowded out and runs out of space.

  2. 'Gordon will be delighted'published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Newcastle 2-1 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Once again, who's the man that plays the perfect ball through? It's that man Alexander Isak. He is the main man.

To be fair, it was one touch too many from Anthony Gordon but he just gets it past Caoimhin Kelleher. He will delighted with that.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Newcastle 2-1 Liverpool

Into the final half an hour. Liverpool dropping points would give everyone else in the top six a lift - and that's a great save!

Curtis Jones is the man on the move in the middle to flick a header on target and Nick Pope paws it out.

  5. 'Forest changes bringing extra pace onto the pitch'published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Man City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

    Jen Beattie
Former Scotland and Man City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Forest haven't been able to get that possession higher up the pitch and the balls into Chris Wood in the box. What they have been able to is to get joy on the counter, so the changes are just about bringing that extra pace onto the pitch.

    Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United

Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a real opportunity for Arsenal if it stays like that at St. James' Park.

    Southampton 1-3 Chelsea

Long delay as the referee races off to change his radio set.

Anyone got any spare Double As?

  8. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Kevin de Bruyne could have had a hat-trick by now, he's been excellent. He plays a one-two with Jack Grealish before shooting. It takes a deflection off a Forest defender and is then saved in the bottom corner by the keeper.

  9. 'Sacked in the morning'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Everton 3-0 Wolves

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football news reporter at Goodison Park

"You don't know what you're doing," is the chant from the Wolves supporters - presumably in the direction of manager Gary O'Neil after he takes off Goncalo Guedes and sends on Hwang Hee-chan.

They are now singing, "sacked in the morning". That can't be for anyone else.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Southampton 1-3 Chelsea

Chance for the Saints on the break as Joe Aribo squares it for Mateus Fernandes who forces Chelsea keeper Filip Jorgensen into a brilliant save with his feet.

Ther's a slight penalty shout as the ball deflects off Jorgensen and hits Marc Cucurella on the arm. But it would be a very harsh decision and VAR rightly waves it away.

  11. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

That was Erling Haaland's first Premier League assist since 5 February against Brentford.

All credit to Newcastle! They looked to be on the canvas at the start of this second half but have rallied brilliantly!

Anthony Gordon has been key to that, going close a few times and now he does find the net. Alexander Isak slides him in with yet another good pass, Gordon chops inside the last defender and hits a low shot through Caoimhín Kelleher who can't keep it out!

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Forest send on Eric da Silva Moreira, Taiwo Awoniyi and Elliot Anderson. Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood and Ola Aina are replaced.

Maybe Nuno Espirito Santo is thinking about their next game.

Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes are two great players, but if they can become a duo, it will be exceptional for Newcastle.

They need to build an understanding, but they look like two individuals who want to play almost always in the same position, and that can be a little difficult.

  16. Postpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool

Phwoarrr he hit that! Anthony Gordon drives right through the middle and hits a rising shot that cannons into the side of Joe Gomez's head.

What a block. Quite possibly a goal-saving one.

  19. Postpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Man City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

    Jen Beattie

It is a little bit 'backs to wall' stuff for Nottingham Forest at the minute.

  20. Postpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2024

    Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Inches away. Kevin de Bruyne rolls the free-kick to Ilkay Gundogan, who stops it dead for De Bruyne to shoot. It hits someone in the wall and goes just wide for a corner.
