    Arsenal 2-0 Manchester United

Manchester United lose for the first time under Ruben Amorim. Arsenal were the better team and a constant threat from their set-pieces. Jurrien Timber headed in the first goal and then William Saliba, without knowing much about it, got a fortunate second from another corner.

FT: Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola told BBC Sport: "We won. All that matters. Today is a good day."

On Kevin de Bruyne: "He played really good. Defensively he helped us a lot. Very good. I'm really pleased. He's an incredible person. What he's done these years with us have been outstanding. When he's fit, maybe he can't play every three days, but hopefully he can help us like he has since coming from Germany.

"The reality is he played few games last season and this season. We'd love to have Manu And Nathan and two defensive midfielders. They are fantastic human beings and fantastic players.

"After what happened in the past we were not relaxed until the referee's whistle at the end."

It's insane that Liverpool haven't yet given Salah a 3 year contract. Look at his stats over 8 seasons! He doesn't get injured, has not lost his sharpness. I reckon he easily has 3 years at this level.

Almost a third goal from an Arsenal corner - it's some weapon they have up their sleeves with the deliveries from Bukayo Saka on the right and Declan Rice on the left. Rice takes this one, Andre Onana with some unconvincing goalkeeping before United, rather panickily, launch it clear.

Some amusing comments about Arsenal's style of play tonight. This game shows exactly why we make sure we're good at it - when a team parks the bus we need to find another way to win. When they don't, we can blow them away like we did Sporting.

Mohamed Salah was unbelievable in the second half for Liverpool. He was a little bit-part in the first half, but was class after the interval.

His stats and data are incredible. We talked about him getting that new contract and his agent should be there first thing in the morning to get him to sign that contract.

He is that player who can change a game. He has moments and he is exceptional in those moments. He is a match winner.

Having just watched Liverpool Chelsea and Man City play it's safe to say Arsenal play by far the worst football. Long balls, set pieces, corners..more akin to a team battling survival than one challenging for the title. For the good of the Premier League hopefully one of the others wins it. Chelsea and Liverpool playing much better football this year

This game says more about Arsenal's set-piece coach than it does their manager which is a weird thing to say. Take the corners out of the equation there's not been a lot in this game.
