Brighton almost wrap it up. A ball over the top has Mats Wieffer latching on and prodding a shot against the body of Newcastle keeper Nick Pope.

For all the blame Man U and ETH get, the only chance Brentford had was their goal when they scored from a set piece 11 vs. 10.

Brentford have been quiet in this second half. Matthijs de Ligt is free close to the right touchline for United, his cross sees Alejandro Garnacho run on to it and strike it first time, but Mark Flekken is there and well positioned to dive forwards and gather the shot.

I really don't get ten Hag's substitutions. Best United have played all season, so he takes off their best player Hojlund. This will be a tense final 15 minutes.

A chance for United's third. Marcus Rashford nudges a ball through to substitute Joshua Zirkzee, but the ball just bounces away from him and Mark Flekken is happy to dive on to the ball.

Abdul Fatawu absolutely rinses Charlie Taylor down the right, but cannot find a Leicester team mate with a low cross.

I have to agree with many of our correspondents today, Fatawu should be starting games for Leicester.

Manchester United have reacted brilliantly in this second half, coming out and turning the game around. They look sharp and more like the United we have come to expect in the Premier League era. They are getting the ball wide, creating chances, more in keeping with what Erik ten Hag will be after from his players. But he will be most pleased with the character they have shown.
