Newcastle are inches away from equalising. Well done Casemiro again. Jacob Murphy puts in a fantastic cross which Dan Burn heads back across the goal. It beats Andre Onana but Casemiro heads off the line.

It's close but the referee's watch doesn't buzz because it didn't cross the line.

  20. Terrible Trippierpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 15 May

    Man Utd 1-0 Newcastle

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Casemiro got so much grief for his positioning on Sunday for Arsenal's goal and rightly so.

But Kieran Trippier is a vastly experienced defender and his positioning was equally as bad for Manchester United's goal.

Kobbie Mainoo looked shocked when the ball came to him. He must have thought he was offside as was clearly beyond all the defenders around him.
