Better from Sporting as Viktor Gyokeres beats William Saliba down the right, but there's nobody in the middle to meet his cross.

Foden should play in Rico Lewis’s position. He’d be much better in that double pivot alongside Gundogan. I’m surprised Guardiola thinks Gundogan plus Lewis is good enough for the double pivot.

    Sporting 0-2 Arsenal

A rare, rare touch for Viktor Gyokeres in the Arsenal box as the forward latches on to an optimistic pass over the top, but the forward can't keep it under control and the ball skids off his foot straight out.

Approaching the half hour mark and still goalless. A bit frustrating for the Manchester City fans but their side has been kept out by a couple of excellent saves.

I said moments ago that Maximiliano Araujo has been too tight to Bukayo Saka.

But Saka is too clever of a player that he will eventually get behind you. He does that and once he gets in there, he sees the goalkeeper come out. He passes it through the keeper's legs and Kai Havertz is there this time to tap it in.

    It's just easy for Arsenal.

Fair play to Sporting, they won't change their style. The hosts continue to pass the ball around the back with confidence.

They've not done much going forward tonight, though.

Lovely stuff from Phil Foden! With his back to goal he takes one touch and turns to get away from a defender and then sends a fierce low drive at goal that Timon Wellenreuther does well to push away.

    Kai Havertz (22 mins)

    Too good!

Bukayo Saka beats the offside trap down the right and then pokes the ball beyond keeper Franco Israel to give Kai Havertz an easy tap-in.

Arsenal are making Sporting look very ordinary.

Bukayo Saka fancies himself against any opponent at the moment, but Maximiliano Araujo has tried to stay real tight with him tonight.

But sometime in the near future, the Arsenal attacker will be able to just spin away from him.

Arsenal are pushing for another. A corner is eventually cleared out to Bukayo Saka who's tackled before he can get a shot away, and then Thomas Partey has a pop from range but his effort is straight at Sporting keeper Franco Israel.

Manchester City keep up the pressure as Phil Foden sends Bernardo Silva through on the right side of the box. Two players quickly close him down so Silva chips the ball in but it is easily cleared.

Jack Grealish hasn't scored in 2024. Great signing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - the font on the back of City’s shirts is ridiculous.

Martin Odegaard tries to get going on the counter but Sporting defender Hidemasa Morita quickly gets across to win the ball back.

Sporting then have a corner but Arsenal easily clear.

Pep Guardiola is looking a little exasperated on the touchline. His side has dominated but they don't have that all important goal yet.

  15. Barcelona and Leverkusen lead at homepublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

We've had a flurry of early goals across the other 20:00 GMT kick-offs.

Robert Lewandowski scored from the penalty spot, his 100th goal in the Champions League, to give Barcelona the lead at home to Brest.

Elsewhere, Young Boys forward Silvere Ganvoula has just equalised for them after they had fallen behind to a Mateo Retegui strike for Atalanta.

Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen are currently 2-0 up at home to Red Bull Salzburg.

It's been a good response from Sporting. Both teams look like they have worked on oppositions' weaknesses. Both are playing different systems and they are trying to make sure their system wins by closing down and taking possession in the weak areas of their opponents.

That was crazy play from the Feyenoord goalkeeper.

Man City forced them into the error and they create that chance really well for Grealish to come and volley it, but it just hits his own man.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Man City 0-0 Feyenoord

Some excellent pressing by Manchester City sees them win the ball inside the Feyenoord box and the ball is played to Jack Grealish, whose volley strikes Phil Foden. It was going in as well.

    Still, it is all City.

Remember, Sporting fell behind when they thrashed Manchester City 4-1, this isn't done yet.

How will the Portuguese side respond tonight? Winger Marcus Edwards plays in a low cross from the left but it beats all his team-mates in the middle.
