The Barcelona defence has been looking very leggy in these last minutes. What a great goal that was. Well done Newcastle.

Newcastle have looked decidedly average since Elanga went off. Definitely a few disappointing individual performances tonight.

This clamour to rewrite recent history regarding Rashford is bizarre. He had games like this where he's on fire more than once, that is not the issue, it's consistency over a season. At the end I'll judge Rashford, not now.

    Alex

Rashford is like a lower order batsmen in cricket has a day out every now and then but generally is average.

  20. Kairat score on Champions League debutpublished at 21:48 BST 18 September

    Sporting 4-1 Kairat Almaty

A historic goal in Lisbon! Debutants Kairat Almaty have scored in their first ever Champions League league phase match.

And it's a really good strike too, as substitute Ricardinho reaches the byline and pulls a cross back for fellow Brazilian Edmilson who smashes in on the volley.

Sporting have been the better side and are cruising, but Kairat are the ones who have just created history.
