We just heard the first rendition of the 'Ruben Amorim' song from the Manchester United fans.
Amorim said after the Europa League final he would leave if either the club hierarchy or the fans didn't want him to stay.
Both have declared their support, which is why Amorim has been empowered to make the kind of decision he has about Alejandro Garnacho.
It goes without saying United must be much better next season than they have been in this one.

Milos Kerkez, perhaps on his final appearance for Bournemouth, does brilliantly to get to the byline before whipping in a lovely cross but no team-mate could make contact.

Southampton players rush to the referee to appeal for a penalty after Yukinari Sugawara's shot hits Declan Rice's arm in the box.
There is a brief VAR check but it is quickly dismissed.
Saints fans aren't impressed either and you can understand why.

Manchester City play it out to their right wing, where Matheus Nunes wins the ball and gets it back from Omar Marmoush to charge into the Fulham box.
The City right-back attempts to dink the ball over Bernd Leno and although it hits Leno's head, Ilkay Gundogan is able to reach behind himself and steer the rebound goalwards.
I suppose that has to be described as an overhead kick and it goes in off the bar for the German's first league goal since returning to the club last August.

Gary Neville is banned from the stadium at the City Ground today and that fact hasn't gone unnoticed with the home supporters.
They have chanted some unflattering words about the former Manchester United defender, now working at SkySports, and are chanting, "Marinakis, he bans who he wants."
The ban came shortly after the TV pundit criticised the club's Greek owner after he marched onto the pitch to speak animatedly with manager Nuno Espirto Santo after the 2-2 draw earlier this month.

The issue with Alejandro Garnacho's post-Europa League final post (and that of his brother) is that they fail to take into account the Argentina wide-man is partly culpable for Manchester United's failure to score enough goals this season.
It was an issue highlighted by head coach Ruben Amorim yesterday,
United have had three decent opportunities already today. But the score is still level.
They will never improve to any great degree until they score more often.
