  3. 'Saka and Odegaard the two best players on the pitch'published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on TNT Sport

Saka and Odegaard have been the two best players on the pitch.

Then, two players out of the Arsenal academy started and finished the goal.

Lewis-Skelly bursts forward, lovely cross from Jesus and Saka couldn't miss.

  4. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Erling Haaland has had more big chances (12) than any other player in the Champions League this season, but has only managed to convert four of those.

  5. Juve happy to force City widepublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Juventus 0-0 Man City

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

Juventus have sat in and defended in numbers in the central areas, which has forced City out wide.

City have not moved the ball quickly enough to get behind them, and have been a bit too predictable in possession. When they have put balls into Erling Haaland, he is isolated and often out-numbered three to one by defenders.

The time Kevin de Bruyne played Haaland in showed what City want to do, but that was the exception rather than the rule in the first half.

You can hear more from Onuoha on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

I'm at the game. It'll be worrying if it's still 1-0 with 5 minutes to go and Monaco nick one. We should be out of sight already.

This is how it stands in tonight's Champions League games after wins for Atletico Madrid and Lille over Slovan Bratislava and Sturm Graz respectively.

  8. 'It's the risk taking in the final third'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's what it is - the risk taking. It's the risk taking in the final third.

When Kevin de Bruyne gets the ball normally and it's on for a millisecond, just shut your eyes, he'll play it, he'll see it, he's fabulous but it's not quite.

  9. Saka shines againpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

Monaco have not had a shot on target so far in this game.

Meanwhile, since the start of last season, only Harry Kane (18), Vinicius Jr (16) and Antoine Griezmann (13) have been involved in more Champions League goals than Bukayo Saka (seven goals, five assists).

@MattyArsenalFC on X: Martinelli is so lucky there. Trossard on at half time, surely!

  11. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City's first shot in this game came in the 36th minute - the furthest into a Champions League match before attempting their first shot since March 2017 v Monaco (61st minute).

  12. 'Tentativeness all around'published at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    HT: Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's a tentativeness all around and it's not just Manchester City, it's from Juventus players as well.

I suspected there will be chances and a lot more chances in the second half. Players will relax into it.

  13. Leao opens scoring for Milanpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

Rafael Leao has put AC Milan 1-0 up against Red Star Belgrade.

It has not been the most enjoyable half for the Rossoneri so far who have lost Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alvaro Morata to injury but that may raise their spirits at the San Siro.

Meanwhile, Albion Rrahmani has pulled a goal back for Sparta Prague, who now trail Feyenoord 3-1.

No goals yet at Benfica v Bologna or in Borussia Dortmund's match against Barcelona.

All of those matches have just reached the half-time break.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

Arsenal one up through Bukayo Saka and have wasted other chances to go in further ahead. But all good for the Gunners so far at the Emirates.

As good as Arsenal are I'm sure they would give anything for a true finisher like Thierry Henry or Ian Wright.

    Tristan. A Palace fan.

I will say it again...an out and out striker is needed!

  16. Postpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

Gabriel Martinelli needs to be careful. He's already on a yellow card and steps across and trips Lamine Camara. No second yellow for the Arsenal man. That would've changed the mood around the place if a red had been seen.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Not a great half of football.

  18. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Juve squander a good attacking opportunity right at the end of the half. Luckily for City.

  19. 'Arsenal have lacked a little bit of quality in front of goal'published at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Some of the passing and movement has been excellent from Arsenal but they've lacked a little bit of quality in front of goal at times.

  20. Postpublished at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Just the one minute added on. Tough to add much injury time when nothing has happened.
