  1. 'Could've had four or five'published at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at the Emirates Stadium

The Arsenal fans can't believe how many chances their side have missed. There was a groan from the crowd when Martinelli missed a chance then.

They could have had four or five goals in this first half if they'd taken their chances.

  2. CLOSE!published at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

Are all these misses going to come back and haunt Arsenal? Martin Odegaard finds Gabriel Martinelli and he has space and time to shoot but again can't hit the target when he should've done.

The good news for Arsenal is they are slicing through the Monaco defence and it's 1-0 but should be more.

  3. City still vulnerable on the transitionpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Man City

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

What a ball that was by Kevin de Bruyne for Erling Haaland, but we immediately saw again how vulnerable they are on the transition.

A few seconds later after City had finally opened them up, Juve had lots of space to break into down the right - only this time they did not use it.

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

A lot of shoving between Ruben Dias and Pierre Kalulu as they await a Kevin de Bruyne corner.

It's half-cleared and Rico Lewis snatches at a shot. Kyle Walker ends up giving the ball back to Ederson.

After 2 missed chances from Jesus and now Odegaard’s miss…should be 4-0. This is the sort of game where 1-0 is a very precious position to be in come the second half.

  6. 'Monaco just look a little bit lightweight'published at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

    Shocking defending, really really poor.

Odegaard has a quick look behind him, not sure if he fancies it initially or if he thinks he's getting caught. He makes his mind up but it's always going wide. Big chance.

Monaco just look a little bit lightweight.

  7. Postpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

The referee calls over Jeremy Doku and Francisco Conceicao for a little chat after a clash between the two wingers.

Jack Grealish walks past and says something that annoys Conceicao.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

For the third time in the opening 40 minutes, Arsenal miss a one-on-one opportunity. Soungoutou Magassa is the relieved Monaco man as his pass is woeful and lets Martin Odegaard dash on through. You just expect it to be a goal, Radoslaw Majecki comes out to try to stop him and Odegaard shoots past him, but also just wide of the post.

That's two one-on-ones missed by Gabriel Jesus and one from Odegaard. Arsenal should be further ahead than they are.

  9. 'I think he did everything right'published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That will be called a big miss but I don't know if it is a big miss.

I think he did everything right, he's chipped the goalkeeper, he just got a big arm up there and saved it.

Juve break immediately and Danilo's 20-yard effort is straight at Ederson. The best two moments of this game in about 20 seconds.

  11. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Oh my. That was lovely football. Kevin de Bruyne plays a world-class through ball into Erling Haaland, who gets in behind his defender and then tries to clip the ball over Michele di Gregorio but the keeper gets an arm out to save well.

  12. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

Thomas Partey gets free on the right wing and sends in a low cross, Gabriel Martinelli has pulled away from his marker and has enough space to hit it first time, but sends it just wide. That would've been a fine goal.

  13. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Since the start of the 2022-23 season, Jack Grealish has been fouled more times than any other player in the Champions League (59).

  14. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

OK this is better. Jack Grealish feeds Erling Haaland, whose effort is blocked and then chested back to the keeper by Khephren Thuram.

  15. 'An interesting game tactically'published at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a wee bit disappointing but it has been an interesting game tactically.

None of the Man City players really have shown and done anything special.

  16. 'Lovely goal from start to finish'published at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 1-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Brilliant goal, absolute first class. Doesn't the young full-back do well, great feet from the young fella. Then that ball right across from Jesus takes the goalkeeper out of play.

Saka does the right thing, gets across his defender - first-class goal all around. Lovely goal from start to finish.

  17. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

The ball lands to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in the box. His shot hits Teun Koopmeiners and then ricochets off the big Norwegian.

  18. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Alex Howell

Really good work from Lewis-Skelly in the build up to that goal. The Arsenal players go to him to celebrate.

  19. Feyenoord flying as Stuttgart draw levelpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

Feyenoord had to come from 3-0 down late on in their previous Champions League outing at Manchester City.

But with less than 30 minutes on the clock this evening, they are 3-0 up against Sparta Prague.

And what a superb strike their third goal is as well, with Anis Hadj Moussa cutting in from the right and curling the ball into the far left corner.

Germany midfielder Angelo Stiller has levelled for Stuttgart in their encounter with Young Boys.

  20. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

The kind of sweets with little messages on them I probably can't name for BBC reasons. I probably would have had time to read all the writing on them too, it's been so quiet.
