Summary

  1. Postpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Blackburn 0-0 Stoke

Blackburn are still very much on top in this game but Stoke have just started to threaten in the last few minutes.

They get forward down the left through loanee Lewis Koumas.

The Blackburn defence block the cross but it comes back to Enda Stevens, whose square ball finds Million Manhoef, but the Dutchman's poked effort is comfortably collected by Aynsley Pears in the Rovers goal.

  2. 'Tanganga turned striker!'published at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Millwall 1-0 Leeds

    Johnnie Jackson
AFC Wimbledon manager on BBC London

I was not expecting that finish from Japhet Tanganga, you'd think he was a centre-forward!

    He turned into Macaulay Langstaff!

  3. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry 0-1 Derby

Plenty of possession for Coventry in the last couple of minutes but there's no real cutting edge in the final third.

Derby are sitting in, soaking up pressure well and looking to try and play on the break.

    It's 1-0 to Millwall again!

The ball comes to centre-back Japhet Tanganga in the box and he prods it home beyond Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Millwall have kept three clean sheets in a row - Leeds will need to break through that defence to get back into this game.

  5. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland know they're in a game tonight. Preston are playing some really good football and have looked the far more likely as we reach the halfway stage of the first 45 minutes.

Can the Lilywhites make their pressure count, though? That will be the big question.

  6. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry 0-1 Derby

Coventry win a corner on the left and it's swung in by Josh Eccles but the ref spots a foul in a congested penalty area.

Groans of frustration from the home support but that sums up the first half so far for the Sky Blues really.

  7. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Blackburn 0-0 Stoke

Big penalty shout at Ewood Park!

And it's for Stoke as they get forward with a nice passing move.

Enda Stevens is played in down the left and crosses into the box. The ball appears to hit the arm of Callum Brittain but the referee waves play on.

Blackburn run straight up the other end and Todd Cantwell takes the shot on but it's over the bar.

A big moment in this game.

  8. 'Preston have had the best moments'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

    Dan Jewell
    BBC Radio Lancashire Sport

There are heads in hands all around after that chance, created by Sam Greenwood.

Preston have had the two best moments of the game and failed to capitalised.

Greenwood knows that should've gone in.

  9. CLOSE!published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland are creaking a little bit here. Preston work it well on the left and Sam Greenwood whips in a cross for Mads Frokjaer-Jensen who is completely unmarked in the box but heads wide.

That should've at least hit the target.

  10. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Luton 0-0 Cardiff

    Luton looking much better tonight.

Alfie Doughty's cross from the left finds Carlton Morris totally unmarked round the back but the captain doesn't quite get the connection with the volley and it loops harmlessly into the hands of Jak Alnwick.

    Still goalless.

  11. 'Millwall might only need one'published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Millwall 0-0 Leeds

    Emma Jones
    BBC London

We're still awaiting a goal here at The Den.

A reminder: It's only taken Millwall scoring one goal to win their last three Championship games.

The home side enjoying almost 70% of the ball of so far the Stoke defence has stood firm.

Sondre Tronstad's ball in is met by Yuki Ohashi but the Potters keeper Viktor Johansson gets across to save the near-post header.

  13. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry 0-1 Derby

It's a bit of a head scratcher so far for Coventry boss Mark Robins.

The mistake by Jack Rudoni for the Derby goal is pretty much the only moment of goalmouth action for either side so far.

Can the Sky Blues up the tempo to disrupt a so far solid Rams defence? Robins will be hoping so.

Interesting choice from Edwards to play Brown up front instead of Adebayo, but we'll see. I'm going 2-0 to Luton.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland's first real moment of promise as Wilson Isidor receives the ball on the left and cuts inside before firing a shot from the edge of the box into the side-netting.

    Lively start to this one.

  16. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Luton 0-0 Cardiff

A first real sight of goal for Luton comes to Jacob Brown.

The striker works some room for himself before shooting at goal but his deflected shot is collected by Cardiff keeper Jak Alnwick.

As the game begins, the noise echoes from the end to the left, where over 5,000 Sunderland fans are packed in.

That is a fantastic effort to get down from the north east given traffic issues on the M6 not too far away.

Their slow start here is not really quietening them down too much either.

  18. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Luton 0-0 Cardiff

The Bluebirds have come into this game in decent form and they almost take a very early lead as Anwar El Ghazi gets away from his marker to flick on a head but it misses everyone and goes out behind for a goal kick.

  19. 'Preston already creating'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

    Paul Gallagher
Former Preston midfielder on BBC Radio Lancashire

Sam Greenwood is full of condidence at the moment doing his flicks and finding space.

Preston have started well, and Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil has found himself under pressure in the centre of the pitch already.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

Preston have come out the traps at Deepdale.

Chris Mepham goes into the book after bringing down Sam Greenwood right on the edge of the penalty area and the hosts win a free-kick in a dangerous position.

The effort by Greenwood goes straight into the wall but the home crowd are roaring.
