  1. Rigg's 'older brother'published at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Adam Lanigan
    BBC Sport at Deepdale

Teenage starlet Chris Rigg returns to the Sunderland line-up tonight after recovering from a chest issue.

The 17-year-old is arguably the best young player in the Championship and has come up with vital goals already this season.

But tonight he has company as Regis Le Bris hands a first league start to another Academy of Light prospect.

Winger Tommy Watson is almost 12 months older, and is from Easington, another Mackem heartland.

Let's see what he can deliver!

    Millwall 0-0 Leeds

After a decent spell for the hosts Leeds are feeling their way into this game.

A couple of long-range efforts from Brenden Aaronson and Joe Piroe are dealt with by Millwall keeper Lukas Jensen.

Leeds just starting to turn up the pressure.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston 0-0 Sunderland

Wow, almost a dream start for Preston.

Sam Greenwood receives the ball in the penalty area and stabs an effort towards goal but it's blocked and almost drops to Kaine Kesler-Hayden but he can't quite get on the end of it to divert it home.

    Blackburn 0-0 Stoke

Rovers have made a very good start to this game and the first real chance comes their way as Todd Cantwell plays a lovely ball over the top to set Yuki Ohashi away behind the Stoke defender.

The striker was forced wide on the left but takes on the shot at Viktor Johansson's near post, but he's not going to beat the goalkeeper from there.

    A gift for Derby!

The ball comes over the top and Jack Rudoni is chasing towards his own box for Coventry and tries to pass it back to Oliver Dovin...

But he doesn't see Jerry Yates and plays it straight into his path before Yates goes round the keeper and slots it home.

It's a mare for Rudoni and the Rams are ahead.

  7. 'Millwall trying to stretch Leeds'published at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Millwall 0-0 Leeds

    Jon Newsome
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

Millwall are obviously trying to stretch the game and play the ball behind us. Also, we need to do better with tall players like Cooper who get chances that close-range.

  8. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Blackburn 0-0 Stoke

Blackburn have made a decent start to the game at Ewood Park, with Callum Brittain looking particularly threatening down the right-hand side.

He put a nice cross into the box but wasn't able to find a teammate as Stoke cleared the danger.

Rovers looking to end their winless run tonight, while Stoke aim to claim that elusive away win.

  9. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry 0-0 Derby

Cagey opening 10 minutes but it's not a bad start to this game by Derby, who are knocking it about nicely when they've got the ball.

No chances of note yet, but the visitors are also sitting in and keeping it tight when Coventry are in possession.

Understandable when you've only picked up two points from seven away games so far this season.

  10. Can you do it on a midweek at Deepdale?published at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

Sunderland arrive in Lancashire for their fourth away game in five matches. The Championship leaders have taken seven points from their previous three road trips, and now they prepare to take on struggling Preston.

However, to come away with three points, the Mackems will have to achieve something that has been beyond many Championship sides - win a midweek game at Deepdale.

It is now 21 league games unbeaten in a midweek fixture for North End, a run consisting of 10 wins and 11 draws.

If Regis Le Bris and his Sunderland side can crack that code, perhaps those red-and-whites will really start to believe this could be their season.

  11. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Millwall 0-0 Leeds

Early chance for the home side after Junior Firpo gives away a foul.

The ball is swung in by Ryan Leonard and Jake Cooper gets up well to meet the header but it's an easy save for Illan Meslier.

They won't want to give the big centre-back too many chances like that, it was Cooper who scored the winner against Burnley at the weekend.

    A good spell from Millwall.

  12. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry 0-0 Derby

The hosts were just settling into the game nicely with some sustained possession before Ben Sheaf loses it in midfield.

Dajaune Brown drives forward for Derby but Bobby Thomas comes across well to tackle and put it behind for a corner.

It's floated in and after a bit of pinball, it's sliced out by Curtis Nelson for a goal-kick.

Looking for another kickstart to Luton Town's season tonight against Cardiff. Interesting Brown is put ahead of Adebayo. Must be something tactical they have worked out in training!

Jayden Bogle is the only alteration to the Leeds team that beat Plymouth last time out.

He comes in to replace Sam Byram at right-back for the visitors.
