Derby County boss Paul Warne has decided on a major reshuffle following the 2-1 defeat at Stoke at the weekend with five changes.

Joe Ward, Craig Forsyth, Marcus Harness and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing drop to the bench, while Ben Osborn isn’t in the squad at all.

Liverpool loanee Nat Phillips, Liam Thompson, Kenzo Goudmijn, Callum Elder and Dajaune Brown all come into the side.

    Millwall v Leeds (19:45 GMT)

Leeds can go top of the Championship with victory tonight if Sunderland lose at Preston.

But they come up against a Millwall side on the back of three 1-0 wins that have taken them from 20th to eighth in the table in little more than two weeks.

The Lions will end the night in the play-off spots with victory, and would stay there regardless of whether West Bromwich Albion beat Burnley tomorrow as they have a superior goal difference to fifth-placed Watford.

Leeds are unbeaten away from home this season and have kept four clean sheets on the road.

  5. Stuttering Hatters host resurgent Bluebirdspublished at 19:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Luton v Cardiff (20:00 GMT)

On Saturday, 28 September, Hull put four goals past a broken and bruised Cardiff to leave the Bluebirds propping up the table with one solitary point from seven matches.

The turnaround since has been remarkable.

Four wins and two draws from their next six games have propelled Cardiff up the table, with striker Callum Robinson scoring three goals in four appearances.

Luton begin the night in the relegation zone and only a win will be enough to get them out of it. Rob Edwards' side are winless in their past three games.

Cardiff's resurgence has mainly been down to their much-improved home form - they are winless in their past eight away league games and have lost their past three league meetings with the Hatters.

  6. Will Stoke end barren away streak?published at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

Blackburn Rovers are looking to end a run of three games without a win as they entertain Stoke at Ewood Park.

A much-needed three points against Derby at the weekend lifted the Potters away from the relegation zone.

Stoke lost to Blackburn home and away last season and Narcís Pelach's side have failed to score in each of their last four away games.

  7. Rams sheepish away from homepublished at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Coventry v Derby (19:45 GMT)

Good luck trying to predict which way this one will go between two sides who couldn't be more evenly matched after 13 games with identical records (W4 D3 L6) - Coventry are only above Derby on goal difference.

But if recent form is anything to go by, it tips the scales in favour of the Sky Blues who won consecutive games for the first time this season with a 3-0 victory at Middlesbrough on Saturday and are now unbeaten in three (W2 D1).

The Rams have won just one of their past eight games (D3 L4) and are without a victory in four following a 2-1 defeat at Stoke last time out.

Paul Warne's side have also failed to win away from home so far this season, taking just two points from seven games on the road.

  8. Can Black Cats scratch away Heckingbottom's record?published at 19:28 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November

    Preston v Sunderland (20:00 GMT)

Every game feels massive for Sunderland now after their very impressive start to the Championship season.

The league leaders were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at QPR after Jobe Bellingham was sent off last time out but remain unbeaten in their last six (W4 D2), with their only other dropped points in that time coming against promotion rivals Leeds.

Victory tonight for Regis Le Bris' men will reinforce their title credentials against a Preston side who fare much better at Deepdale than they do on the road.

All three of the Lilywhites' league wins this season have come on home soil but they're lingering dangerously close to the drop zone, two points from trouble.

Paul Heckingbottom's side lost 3-1 at home to Bristol City on Saturday and threw away healthy leads against Plymouth and Norwich in their previous two games to end up drawing both.

The Preston boss is unbeaten in his past five games (W4 D1) as a manager against Sunderland in the EFL, though…

Sunderland go into tonight top of the Championship table but know defeat at Preston will open the door for Leeds to replace them at the summit if they can beat Millwall.

A point would be enough for the Black Cats to stay top and the Lions would climb to fifth with victory over the Whites ahead of Burnley's trip to West Brom tomorrow.

Luton host Cardiff in a vital clash at the bottom and only a win will be enough to lift Rob Edwards' side out of the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, three points could see the Bluebirds soar six places higher to 13th depending on the outcome of Coventry's clash with Derby and Stoke's visit to Blackburn.

Sheffield United players celebrate after Harrison Burrows scores a late winner against Bristol CityImage source, Rex Features

Harrison Burrows scored a last-gasp winner to send Sheffield United into the Championship's automatic promotion places with a 2-1 win at Bristol City.

Michael Obafemi's 82nd-minute strike earned Plymouth Argyle a crucial 1-0 win over Portsmouth in their clash at the bottom of the table.

Middlesbrough won 4-1 at QPR to move up to seventh and continue the Hoops' long run without a league win, which dates back to August.

Oxford United ended their own winless run with a 1-0 victory against Hull City, while there were also wins for Sheffield Wednesday against Norwich [2-0] and Swansea at home to Watford [1-0].
