    Oxford 0-2 QPR

Off and running again at the Kassam and Gary Rowett has made another change for Oxford at the break.

Ole Romeny is off for Tyler Goodhram.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 9 April

    Coventry 0-0 Portsmouth

A half that's sort of shown why neither of these sides have been in great form.

Coventry have enjoyed the better possession and worked it around well but only fashioned one big chance with Jack Rudoni's header that went wide.

And Portsmouth have threatened well on the break, especially down the left but haven't turned those moments into a clear-cut chance.

They did hit the bar though from a corner through captain Regan Poole's header.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 9 April

    Swansea 3-0 Plymouth

Plymouth boss Miron Muslic isn't messing about after that woeful first half for his side in what he described as a "must-win game" before tonight.

A triple change at the break as Kornel Szucs, skipper Adam Randell and Michael Obafemi make way for Tymoteusz Puchacz, Jordan Houghton and Callum Wright.

Bottom 10 of the ChampionshipImage source, Opta

Here's how things are looking at the bottom of the Championship at the halfway stage in two of tonight's games.

Plymouth remain five points adrift as they trail Swansea, who are nine points clear of danger, just cut off the top of this graphic in 14th.

QPR will move seven points ahead of the bottom three if they can hold on against Oxford, who are just three points above the drop.

  7. 'Absolutely brutal'published at 20:44 British Summer Time 9 April

    HT: Oxford 0-2 QPR

    Nick Harris
    BBC Radio Oxford summariser

    It has been absolutely brutal!

What a difference four days make. QPR doing what Oxford did to Sheffield United - the only difference is QPR have got two goals.

Despite the fireworks, the sell-out crowd and the atmosphere, it was all QPR from the off.

It was only their first corner of the game and with that they managed to get a goal.

  8. 'Boos around the Kassam'published at 20:41 British Summer Time 9 April

    HT: Oxford 0-2 QPR

    Dan George
BBC Sport at the Kassam Stadium

It has been a far from ideal first half by Oxford.

As the referee blew for half-time, boos rang out around the Kassam Stadium.

QPR have dominated the first 45 and looked really impressive, they haven't really had much to deal with in terms of Oxford's attack,.

I'm sure Gary Rowett will be sharing some stern words with his players at the break in the changing room.

A big second half coming up.

  9. CLOSE!published at 20:40 British Summer Time 9 April

    Coventry 0-0 Portsmouth

Coventry's best moments of the night by far.

First Jay Dasilva jinks into the box and passes from the left to Jack Rudoni, whose shot from eight yards out is superbly blocked.

But Pompey don't clear and it's picked up on the right by Milan van Ewijk who flicks it back into the box with the outside of his right boot.

Rudoni is there again, this time climbing to reach a header from close range - but it's wide of the right-hand post!

    What a chance.

  10. Postpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 9 April

    Coventry 0-0 Portsmouth

Portsmouth continue to threaten down their left.

Once again, Josh Murphy is put into space and he sends over a low cross that reaches Colby Bishop.

He tries to open himself up for a side-foot shot but Bobby Thomas stands his ground and makes the block.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 9 April

    Oxford 0-2 QPR

QPR hold a vital lead at the break in the battle to avoid relegation.

Ronnie Edwards glanced the Hoops into an early lead before Ole Romeny's own goal from Sam Field's close range effort doubled the advantage.

Marti Cifuentes' side are without a win in seven games but have gone a long way to putting that right so far.

A big uphill task for Oxford in their own quest for survival, just days after beating title-chasing Sheffield United on this same ground.

Such is the nature of football...

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 9 April

    Swansea 3-0 Plymouth

Swansea are cruising to Championship safety. Plymouth are cruising towards League One as things stand.

There won't have been many more dominant halves of football this season than this.

The Swans are three up and deservedly so.

  13. 'It is going to be even harder now'published at 20:31 British Summer Time 9 April

    Oxford 0-2 QPR

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

Well it has not been a great first 45 minutes for Oxford United.

It was never going to be easy. The fans, players, even we knew that.

But it is going to be even harder now!

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 9 April

    Swansea 3-0 Plymouth

We're halfway through two added minutes at the end of the half. Plymouth cannot wait for the whistle to go.

  15. INJURY TIMEpublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 9 April

    Oxford 0-2 QPR

Six minutes added on at the end of this first half.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 9 April

    Coventry 0-0 Portsmouth

Pompey work it down the left and Josh Murphy is tackled to win a corner.

The set piece is swung into the six-yard box and Regan Poole flicks a header onto the bar!

The underside of the bar as well. But the ball bounces back into play and Coventry clear.

  17. goal

GOAL: Oxford 0-2 QPRpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 9 April

Ole Romeny own goal (42 mins)

    Huge goal for QPR!

The Hoops clip a ball into the box towards the far post and it's nodded back across goal.

It drops to Sam Field who manages to bundle it into the net from two yards out via a deflection off Ole Romeny.

  18. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 9 April

    Oxford 0-1 QPR

Great build-up play by QPR and Sam Field gets into a promising position at the byeline on the right but his cross is well blocked.

Kenneth Paal fizzes in a corner but it's cleared away.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:24 British Summer Time 9 April

    Swansea 3-0 Plymouth

Almost four and perhaps should be for Swansea!

Zan Vipotnik strides inside from the right and it opens up for him on the edge of the box but he hammers his effort narrowly over the bar.

    Plymouth are teetering big time.

  20. 'Glimpses of threat from Oxford'published at 20:23 British Summer Time 9 April

    Oxford 0-1 QPR

    Dan George
BBC Sport at the Kassam Stadium

Glimpses, that's what we have started to see of Oxford's attacking threat.

QPR have been totally dominant so far but the U's have started to get some joy through their wide players.

Siriki Dembele on the left and Przemyslaw Placheta down the right have bundles of pace and the have nearly got in behind on a few occasions.

They'll need to show more than just glimpses if they are to get back into this game.
