    Everton 1-0 Brighton

Carlos Baleba takes his place on the Brighton bench. Not really sure whether it's an injury or a tactical switch.

I'll try and update you when we have more on that.

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson stadium

It's been an entertaining match. There is uncertainty among the home fans because they know that their side have given away a few big chances.

One interesting thing about Goodison Park was that there was a church behind one corner, well I think the goal down to our right hand side here has been blessed because Everton are very, very fortunate to be ahead.

  8. 'Lack of clinical finishing not new for Brighton'published at 14:57 British Summer Time 24 August

    HT: Everton 1-0 Brighton

    Julien Laurens
European football expert on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson Stadium

It is not new for Brighton the lack of being clinical finishing in front of goal. This is something they have done regularly where they have created chances but have just not been good enough in front of goal.

    HT: Everton 1-0 Brighton

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson stadium

Everton have tried to get Grealish on the ball in the final third as much as they could in the first half. They know the capabilities that he's got. Get him one on one in the final third and he is perfectly capable of creating something. Moyes will be right in his ear at half time saying, "Do that again."

I am staying rock bottom in fantasy if Forest don't reply. I need a hat-trick from Chris Wood and a penalty save from Matz Sels.

Look away now Nottingham Forest fans!

Forest are winless in 51 Premier League games when trailing at half-time (D10 L41) since a 2-1 comeback win over Spurs in January 1997.

HT: Crystal Palace 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Sue Smith
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC Radio 5 Live at Selhurst Park

It has been a pretty even game.

Both sides have lacked a bit of quality in the final third.

The goal for Palace was well-worked and Ismaila Sarr and been a standout player.

Fabian Hurzeler will be frustrated in that Brighton dressing room now.

His side have an xG of 1.46 but haven't managed to find the back of the net as they trail.

Play all the nice football you want but you've got to be able to finish.

  20. 'Perhaps it's worth looking first?'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 24 August

    Everton 1-0 Brighton

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson stadium

That Everton goal is charmed. The fact Brighton haven't scored despite having four gilt-edged chances...

Terrible mistake from Tarkowski. Perhaps before making a back pass like that as a defender it's worth looking first?
