  1. Esse shows his promisepublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 20 May

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Wolves

    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at Selhurst Park

It's really good play from Romain Esse in the build up.

He puts the ball between Agbadou's legs and pulls it back from Nketiah to finish.

The two deputies, Esse and Nketiah, in for Mateta and Eze link-up to get the home side level.

Cameras have just shown Kevin de Bruyne's family sat in the stands. It looked like they were watching a replay of that miss, they looked absolutely flabbergasted.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-1 Wolvespublished at 28 mins

    Eddie Nketiah

Wolves' lead only lasts three minutes. Romain Esse does superbly down the left and jinks into the penalty area, his pullback is hit low and hard by Eddie Nketiah and into the net.

Daniel Bentley in the away goal will feel he should've done better, but the Eagles are level.

Kevin de Bruyne had his head in his hands. Pep Guardiola had his head in his hands. Most of the Etihad did too.

The Etihad has almost been stunned into silence here.

  5. 'Nobody in this stadium can believe that miss'published at 20:27 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on Sky Sports

You only had to see Kevin De Bruyne's face. I don't think anybody in this stadium can quite believe what happened.

The stadium's gone quiet. The irony is that when he missed the effort he still got a round of applause. It's a rarity that.

  6. A shockerpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football news reporter at Etihad Stadium

    Noooo! How did he miss????

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Ohhh no. The Manchester City fans can not believe that, they were ready to laud their midfielder.

The ball comes across the box and Kevin de Bruyne has an open goal in front of him six-yards out but he clatters his effort off the bar!

    What a miss.

  8. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 Wolvespublished at 25 mins

    Emmanuel Agbadou (Wolves)

Emmanuel Agbadou has just got a yellow card and now has a goal.

A corner from the right comes in for Wolves, Jorgen Strand Larsen at the back post causes chaos and puts Chris Richards under pressure. Agbadou is there to head goalwards, Eddie Nketiah can't get there in time and the header crosses the line and Wolves lead.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 20 May

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Emmanuel Agbadou of Wolves is the first man in the book at Selhurst Park and he can have no complaints as he blocked off Eddie Nketiah with a forearm to the chin when the forward was close to the left touchline and inside his own half.

  10. 'Why doesn't Haaland head that?'published at 20:23 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on Sky Sports

Why does he not go with his head there, Haaland?

I don't get that. Kevin De Bruyne stands the ball up beautifully and I think if Haaland goes with his head he scores.

  11. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Kevin de Bruyne delivers a decent ball to the back post and Erling Haaland sticks out that telescopic leg to try and hook it into the net but the angle is too tight and Kepa gathers.

  12. Quiet game but loud supporterspublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 20 May

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at Selhurst Park

Not too much to shout about on the pitch at the moment but the home fans are singing about going on a European tour.

The Eagles will be in the Europa League next season for the first time following their FA Cup victory.

A first look at the Palace goal for Wolves but Jean-Ricner Bellegarde's effort is an awful one. High, wide and hopeless.

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

That's a lovely ball from Kevin de Bruyne for Erling Haaland, dinked over the top, but the Norwegian has two Bournemouth defenders on him and is forced to go backwards.

Ironic shouts of "shooot" every time Omar Marmoush picks up the ball.

  16. 'Marmoush has given City that spark'published at 20:19 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Sutton

Man City needed that spark and Omar Marmoush is one of the signings that has provided that.

  17. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Omar Marmoush has scored three of his seven Premier League goals for Man City from outside the box, in 2024-25 no player in the top five European leagues has netted more from distance than the Egyptian (5).

  18. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 20 May

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

The first shot of the match on target comes from Crystal Palace's Ben Chilwell and the power proves too much for Daniel Bentley as he spills the strike, but gets lucky as the rebound drops kindly for the Wolves defence.

  19. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 20 May

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Celebrations in the stands, not too much excitement on the pitch. Wolves' Rayan Ait-Nouri messing up a backheeled flick near the halfway line is about as exciting as it has got so far. Not that the Palace fans care, they are in full party mode.

  20. 'No goalkeeper in the world is saving that'published at 20:16 British Summer Time 20 May

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on Sky Sports

This is absolutely stunning. He just drifted into a central area, you've got no right to score from there.

Look at the dip and the swerve and the power on the ball. There's no goalkeeper in the world saving that.

That's an absolute belter from Marmoush.
