We are in a moment of the season that I must give minutes for some players because they deserve with the work that they give all the season. And because I want to see players on the pitch to analyse to think about the next season."

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to Premier League Productions: "We are all looking forward to tonight but we don't really know what we will get because it was just an incredible and unique win on Saturday, just three day ago, and there were all these emotions. Then it's not so easy to find the focus but I know everybody will give their best.

"I'm pretty sure the atmosphere will be fantastic today, the fans will be in a great mood. From this perspective it's the right moment on Tuesday. From the mental and physical one, it's not the best one but we have to cope with it, and we did in the best possible way."

Man City still seem to be playing very similar tactics to those they always have under Pep Guardiola. Meanwhile the game is evolving.

I thought the FA Cup final was the perfect example. City demand control of the game and with 79% of possession, they had it. The downside is that demand for control stops players taking chances in the final third. That final pass is almost always the riskiest but the risk-reward equation means it is worth it.

City have gone too far the other way. If the pass isn't 99% on, they turn back. Pep and City were trailblazers, but even if you have the best players and the most money, if you keep doing the same thing you become predictable.

The biggest change by others this season is from an obsession with control and order to a willingness to create chaos, using players who can deliver the unexpected.

For all the beauty of City at their best, I can't say I am disappointed by the change. Have a look at how PSG's style of play for a glimpse at the future.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Palace fans won't care about the result tonight, but nothing is stopping them celebrating winning their first major trophy at the weekend.

This season has been a massive disappointment for Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola has talked about that throughout the season. The players have not met the levels they've set in recent years.

For City, we are looking at a rebuild - it's obvious for everyone to see - although at times they did really well [in the FA Cup final].

Man City have brought in the right players for the future, but because of where they have been in recent seasons, they needed ready-made players for right now.

When asked whether Kevin de Bruyne will start for his final game at the Etihad, Pep Guardiola said: "Kevin will get what he deserves, and what he deserves is the best moment and the best compliment for his incredible trajectory.

"What he has done along with some incredible other legends in this club will not be possible in the 10 to 15 years since Sheik Mansour took over the club and run this club to reach another level."

Manchester City's season has been poor by their own high standards and that's in some part down to the absence of their Ballon d'Or winning midfielder Rodri.

The Spanish midfielder makes his long-awaited return to the squad this evening and is among the substitutes as City look to secure Champions League football for next season.

A welcome sight for City fans.

Crystal Palace will be on a high after Eberechi Eze’s first-half goal against Manchester City in Saturday's FA Cup final at Wembley earned the Eagles their first major trophy.

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira said: “I want to congratulate them because it’s a huge achievement and is good for football when the small beats the big club. They are a very consistent team, good players, good manager and we’ll face a strong team.”

Pereira’s work in turning Wolves’ season around has not gone unnoticed after he won the Premier League manager of the month award for April, while he is one of five bosses nominated for the manager of the season honour.

Wolves were five points from safety when he took over and are now up to 14th in the table, having secured their top-flight status a few weeks ago.

Pereira said: “Our title this season was to transform our situation into a better situation. To come in four games before the end of the season and we stay in the Premier League, but it cannot be the same next season.

“We need to be consistent from the beginning, to dream with other things. I need a break. I started in Saudi Arabia, it was not easy, tough work, and now it’s not time to rest because we need to do a lot of work in the holidays.”

Chris Sutton's predictions.Image source, BBC Sport

The Crystal Palace fans won't really care what the result is here, because they won the game that really mattered at Wembley at the weekend, and they have a trophy to show for it.

So, there will definitely be a party in the stands at Selhurst Park after Palace's FA Cup success, but it is hard to know what to expect from the Eagles players after their own celebrations.

I am not really sure what shape Wolves will be in either, though. They were on a superb run of form until the start of May, but have lost their past two games.

It is Palace who will have all the momentum and Eberechi Eze is flying at the moment so I am going to back them here, but the outcome really depends on whether their manager Oliver Glasner makes a lot of changes.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-0

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is convinced manager Oliver Glasner will still be in the Eagles dugout for their first main European campaign.

The Austrian is under contract until the end of next season, but leading Palace to FA Cup glory and into the Europa League has only brightened the spotlight on the 50-year-old.

Parish has now watched Palace go from the brink of liquidation – before being saved by his consortium in 2010 – to securing their first major silverware.

The club’s only previous European adventure was a brief foray in the Intertoto Cup in 1998.

“The Europa League, it’s going to be a real journey,” said the chairman, after Palace beat Manchester City 1-0 in Saturday’s Wembley cup final. “Fans going to far-flung places, it’s just the stuff of dreams. So yeah, we will be able to get to work fairly quickly and think about what it means. Obviously the manager has done it, which is hugely helpful.”

Glasner has been linked to the vacant manager’s chair at RB Leipzig, and remains a rumoured Tottenham target should they part ways with Ange Postecoglou.

“Oliver will be here next year,” Parish said. “Everybody knows the length of his contract, and beyond that we will have to talk. We want to try to extend his contract, but it needs to be right for everybody, and today is not the time to think about it.”

There's a big cheer and a feeling it's going to be a night of celebration.

Manager Oliver Glasner has made six changes to the side that lifted the trophy on Saturday.

  20. 'We have to be very brave'published at 19:29 British Summer Time 20 May

Man City v Bournemouth (20:00 BST)

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola speaking to Sky Sports: "You have to be mentally very ready because with [Man] City you have to spend a lot of time without the ball, you have to suffer a lot mentally, be very ready, wait for your moments, wait for your chance and be brave."

On Kevin de Bruyne: "It's normal that everything is focused on Kevin. I think he has been one of the best players in the Premier League for the last decade, collectively, individually, and it's also a pleasure to be here, getting his last game but we will also try not to leave things easy for him.

"We will be the first ones to congratulate him, wish him all the best wherever he decides to go and we will fight during the game, but after we will be the first ones to congratulate him."
