  1. PENALTY TO LUTONpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

Penalty to Luton! Clear as day.

First time Luton really get forward and Tahith Chong is hauled down by Tatsuhiro Sakomoto.

  2. Postpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

Coventry get forward on the break and Daiki Hashioka has to bring down Ellis Simms in his own half.

And it's another chance for the home side!

Josh Eccles whips it in towards the near post and Simms meets it on the volley but can't quite steer it goalwards, just wide of the near post.

  3. 'It's an error from Bachmann'published at 12:42 British Summer Time

    Watford 0-0 Blackburn

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

    It's great play from Blackburn.

It's an error from Daniel Bachmann, he should do better.

Blackburn should score and fortunately for Watford they don't.

  4. Postpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

    So close for Coventry!

Milan van Ewijk is involved again on the right and he pulls the ball back to Ben Sheaf in the middle.

The midfielder just can't wrap his foot around it enough as he sends it into the side netting.

Coventry have looked very dangerous in this first 10 minutes.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time

    Watford 0-0 Blackburn

Blackburn will be wondering quite how they aren't ahead here.

Lewis Travis hits a wonderful teasing ball across the box and Watford keeper Daniel Bachmann parries it away but it falls straight to Dominic Hyam five yards out and he crashes an effort off the crossbar.

That should've been 1-0 to Rovers.

  6. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time

    Bristol City 0-0 Leeds

Really good feel about this one.

Both of these sides are unbeaten since 14 September and you can see they're playing with confidence.

The home side win a corner down their left but it comes to nothing.

  7. Postpublished at 12:39 British Summer Time

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

What a goal this would have been!

Milan van Ewijk has the ball out on the right hand side. His only option is Haji Wright but he thinks why not have a go - and the wing-back lets fly from a long way out.

Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski makes a comfortable save at his near post but it was some hit.

  8. Postpublished at 12:39 British Summer Time

    Watford 0-0 Blackburn

Another good move by the visitors as Ryan Hedges feeds Callum Brittain in down the right and he whips in a cross.

It's cleared away but Blackburn then win a free-kick about 40 yards out.

  9. 'Good from Bristol City so far'published at 12:38 British Summer Time

    Bristol City 0-0 Leeds

    Gary Owers
Former Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

Some good play from Bristol City so far.

Leeds are probably caught out by Bristol City's formation.

  10. Postpublished at 12:37 British Summer Time

    Watford 0-0 Blackburn

A well-worked throw by Blackburn as Ryan Hedges gets to the byline on the right and loops in a cross but it goes over everyone.

John Eustace's Rovers are just feeling their way into the contest now too and knocking it about nicely.

  11. Postpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

Early chances for the hosts as Hadji Wright wins a corner.

Tatsuhiro Sakomoto's shot is blocked before Josh Eccles shoots from distance but Thomas Kaminski gets down to make the save.

A bright start from the Sky Blues.

  12. Postpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time

    Bristol City 0-0 Leeds

Really bright start from the home side who get in down their right in the opening minute.

Max Bird can't quite connect with the cross in the middle but that's a warning for the Whites.

  13. Postpublished at 12:34 British Summer Time

    Watford 0-0 Blackburn

Watford have made a positive start at Vicarage Road, getting on the ball early and pushing forward.

A few attempts to thread balls through are cleared well by Blackburn in the opening stages.

This is Bristol City's first home game since the death of manager Liam Manning's baby son Theo.

Fans will be paying tribute to Theo before kick off today, following the minute's silence for Armstice Day.

Liam Manning, who released a statement on Friday to thank fans for their "overwhelming support", is down on the touchline at the moment, with his assistant Chris Hogg leading the team.

At first glance, driving into the Coventry Building Society Arena car park this morning, it looks like there must be an annual White Van Drivers' Convention on. They're everywhere!

Apparently all the light-heavy traffic is here for an Awnings and Blinds Trade Fair in the Exhibition next door. Another reminder that Coventry City do not actually own their own stadium.

But, on the other side of all the awnings, all the conversation is more about warnings.

Today's big business will be happening next door, where the Sky Blues host Luton Town in their first meeting since the Championship play-off final at Wembley in May 2023. And, after a start to the season that both clubs would largely like to draw the blinds on, there does seem rather a lot at stake...

  17. Luton '100%' with Adebayo after racist abusepublished at 12:23 British Summer Time

    Coventry v Luton (12:30 BST)

Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo celebrate after Adebayo scores for LutonImage source, Getty Images

As much as we should be looking forward to an exciting game of football, Luton's preparation for this early kick-off has been marred by online racist abuse of striker Elijah Adebayo.

The 26-year-old was sent an abusive message on Instagram during Wednesday's 2-1 Championship defeat by Sunderland at Kenilworth Road.

Adebayo has been targeted on more than one occasion and the club came out with a strong message, telling the abuser: "We know who you are and you know who you are. You're not a faceless account, one which we have sadly become accustomed to reporting in recent years."

Luton boss Rob Edwards has since said everyone at the club is "100% with Eli".

Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of today's match, he said: "I can never get directly into a player's head anyway but I'm a 41-year-old white man, I don't know what he's going through.

"But I know it's really, really wrong, it's sad, it makes me angry and I want to protect my players.

"He's been amazing for us, for me, in the two years since I've been here."

It's all eyes on the Championship this lunchtime and there are three huge games to kick us off.

One of those sees Coventry City welcome Luton Town for what is remarkably 22nd against 19th.

Cast your mind back 18 months to when these two sides met at Wembley with a place in the Premier League at stake and their lowly positions in the table seem almost unfathomable.

But that's the EFL for you... Sky Blues and Hatters fans, what have you made of your poor starts to this season?

The same goes for supporters of any other clubs! Get in touch and let us know how you rate the campaign so far via the usual channels above.

Watford boss Tom Cleverley makes just one change from the side which lost 2-1 away at Leeds on Tuesday night.

Ryan Porteous returns in defence in place of James Morris who drops to the bench.

Meanwhile, John Eustace has re-shuffled the pack with four changes for Blackburn following the 0-0 draw at home to West Brom in midweek.

Callum Brittain, Danny Batth, Andi Weimann and Makhtar Gueye all come into the starting lineup.

Joe Rankin-Costello, Tyrhys Dolan and Yuki Ohashi drop to the bench, while Hayden Carter misses out with a knee injury after limping off on Wednesday night.

Coventry make three changes from Tuesday's 1-1 draw at QPR.

Ellis Simms, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto and Liam Kitching all come in, with Jack Rudoni, Jay DeDasilva ad Brandon Thomas-Asante all left on the bench.

Luton are unchanged from the side that lost at home to Sunderland on Wednesday night - but Liam Walsh is back on the bench after a three-game ban against one of his old clubs.

Really not that many survivors from that last meeting between the two sides at Wembley 17 months ago.

Four from Luton - Alfie Doughty, Jordan Clark and front two Elijah Aduebayo - but just one in the Coventry starting line-up, skipper Ben Sheaf.
