  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Sheff Utd

The away side pick the ball up just inside the Bristol City half and Gus Hamer rampages away down the inside right.

The Dutchman comes in and fair THUMPS a low shot across the goalkeeper and off the inside of the post and away.

    So close!

  2. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Oxford 0-0 Hull

Bachir Belloumi has a great chance to give Hull the lead but he scoops his shot way over the Oxford goal.

He's looked really lively so far providing ammunition for his teammates, but he couldn't make the most of the opportunity presented to him.

Hull should have scored by now.

    David Fox
Former Norwich City midfielder on BBC Radio Norfolk

In the opening period of the match from what I've seen so far is there is a clear identity of how to play for Norwich, no matter that players on the pitch.

There is enough positivity to say that Ante Crnac or Sainz can get a goal.

There has not been a lot in it, Sheffield Wednesday have just had two chances. One glorious one, and one they have put away.

Nahki Wells pokes wide for the home side as a cross deflects to him at the near post.

A bit of a slow burner so far on Bonfire Night at Loftus Road.

Middlesbrough have had a lot of the ball with not much to show for it so far, with Ben Doak looking the most likely creator on the right-hand side.

QPR seem happy to sit back and try to hit Boro on the break through the likes of Ilias Chair and Koki Saito when they turn the ball over.

No real chances of note so far other than Jimmy Dunne's very early header but a long way to go.

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Norwich talisman Borja Sainz only seems to score special goals of late, and this one would have been right up there, he tries his luck from 25 yards out but blazes a powerful effort path the angle of James Beadle's post and bar.

  7. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Middlesbrough

The R's are one of two Championship teams yet to win at home this season, along with bottom side Portsmouth.

Closing in on 25 minutes played they're yet to have a shot on target.

  8. League One latestpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

Wycombe are off to an absolutely flying start: 3-0 inside the first 20 minutes!

Two goals from Richard Kone and another from Onyedinma might have already put them well out of sight, barring a minor miracle from Stockport.

It's still all-square between Burton and Crawley with the only spark of life coming after 15 minutes when the away keeper Trueman is forced into a few saves.

  9. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

Portsmouth have started absolutely superbly here at Home Park.

Having forced a corner after just 20 seconds they thought they were ahead 28 seconds later but Regan Poole was offside having seen Connor Ogilvie's effort saved by Dan Grimshaw.

Pompey have had all the play and have looked incredibly threatening.

They seem up for it tonight.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Another chance for Miles Peart-Harris, who is played through on the right of the Watford box, his first effort is blocked by a defender but his second rather scuffed attempt from 12 yards comes back off the post - Daniel Bachmann might just have got a fingertip on it down to his left, actually. if so, great, vital save.

Watford not at the races early on...

  11. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Myles Peart-Harris has the first sight of goal of the game, reacting to a bouncing ball after a cross from the right was only half cut-out by the Watford defence, but his acrobatic over-the-shoulder effort loops into the hands of Daniel Bachmann in the Hornets goal.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Oxford 0-0 Hull

It's great work from Hull's Louie Coyle as he cuts out a potential Oxford break away before inspiring a counter attack.

The Tigers hurtled back into the Oxford half and Xavier Simons' shot is fired way over into the stand.

Should have got that on target.

  13. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth

Pompey have the ball in the net after 60 seconds through Regan Poole but, much to the home side's relief, the flag is up for offside.

And we're under way in our two 20:00 GMT games in the Championship at Plymouth and Swansea.

  15. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Norwich try to get back on terms immediately as Ante Crnac pounces on a loose pas and frees Kaide Gordon who sees a right-footed strike deflect past the target for a corner, which comes to nought.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Middlesbrough

Liverpool loanee Ben Doak has impressed since joining Boro on loan in August.

However, the 18-year-old has got in the habit of picking up bookings.

The Scotland international is booked for the fourth time this season.

  17. goal

GOAL Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwichpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Josh Windass (12 mins)

    The miss doesn't matter now...

Josh Windass latches on to a defence splitting pass from Marvin Johnson to go clean through on George Long's goal and drill a low finish inside his near post.

That's his fourth of the season.

Owls have well and truly bounced back from Saturday, but it's more of the same for City.

  18. goal

GOAL: Stockport 0-2 Wycombepublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Fred Onyedinma (11 mins)

Wycombe double their lead less than 60 seconds after they took the lead.

A misplaced pass from Stockport's Fiorini is picked up by Onyedinma who smashes it into the bottom corner of the goal.

    The Chairboys aren't messing about!

  19. CLOSE!published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Norwich

    HOW HAS HE MISSED.

Ike Ugbo has missed a far-post header from only a yard or so out. Miss of the season.

An inviting cross is curled in from the right, George Long was beaten all ends up but Ugbo somehow nods the ball back across the face of goal.

You will see this replayed for years!

  20. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Norwich

FOURTEEN players congregate in the Owls six yard box as Kellen Fisher swings in a corner for Norwich but big Shane Duffy is penalised for his attempt to get across his man and glance a header home.
