    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

Everton are stretched again as Villa break at pace. Ollie Watkins leads the charge, slides a pass to Youri Tielemans and the Belgian strikes at goal, only for an excellent block from Toffees skipper James Tarkowski, who flings himself in front of the ball.

Villa's Amadou Onana is then booked only eight minutes in for bringing down Idrissa Gueye.

Another effort from 20-25 yards out from Aston Villa. Again it is ex-Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, and again his shot goes wide of goal.

Everton can't keep allowing these shots to come in though, it has been all Villa.

Just a reminder Dyche said ‘I’ve taken the club as far as I can’ …. 1 point above relegation, he himself had basically given up. Appreciate everything he has done over the last two years but you can’t have a manager with that attitude at a club in our position.
