  1. Big chance for Sterlingpublished at 19:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

This is the chance Raheem Sterling has been waiting for since his deadline day loan move to Arsenal from Chelsea.

He has been very much on the margins, with only one goal in 12 appearances, but now he gets just his third league start in the north London derby against Tottenham.

Arsenal need to find an attacking spark from somewhere - can Sterling regain some of his past form and provide it?

With Myles Lewis-Skelly, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall all named as starters, this is the first time three players aged 18 or younger will start in a north London derby in the Premier League.

Lewis-Skelly, 18, is the second youngest Arsenal player to start in a north London derby in the Premier League, after Cesc Fabregas, who was 17 when he started both games in 2004-05.

On Antonin Kinsky: "We have given him the full experience. He has been important to us because he come in at an important stage.

"It will be a great test for him, but I am sure he will cope well."

On Richarlison: "He has worked really hard and he's had a frustrating season. Him and Mikey Moore give us a few more options in the front third."

RE former players for West Ham; too many to choose from but off the top of my head I’d love to see a Di Canio or Payet back at the club.

    Harry, Maidstone

Joshua Worrall: Would have Richarlison back at Everton. Hopefully the Friedkins can make it happen as he’s not a regular at Spurs even when fully fit. Would add a lot more quality to the forward line and give us more threat in behind. He doesn’t play for Brazil for no reason!

A congested calendar - including a potential 48-hour turnaround between an FA Cup tie against Tottenham and a European play-off game - could complicate and potentially derail Villa's progress on multiple fronts.

The January transfer window is also finally heating up. A deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen has been reported as a done, but Villa will also be hopeful that PSR can be navigated and a move for at least one much-needed defensive reinforcement can be completed.

With so much at stake, these next two weeks are a pivotal step to increasing the stakes at the business end of Villa's season.

    Dazzling Dave, Fan writer

For all their dominance at Bristol, Wolves failed to capitalise on all their chances, losing their flow and intensity - and the sense of control and assurance began to fade.

It highlighted a recurring issue - Wolves' inability to sustain their dominance over the full 90 minutes.

If Vitor Pereira wants to see his team push up the Premier League table and navigate cup ties successfully, he will need to focus on extending those periods of brilliance and instilling a ruthless, killer edge in front of goal.

Wolves' second-half dip was a stark reminder of the work still needed. Newcastle are next up in the league and one of the most in-form sides. Wolves will have to stretch that spell of brilliance into a consistent 90-minute display if they hope to secure any points.

I’d love Big Sam back at Leeds. He didn’t get the chance he deserved in the PL with only 4 games in charge. The atmosphere at Elland Road is dull under Farke, we need a big personality like Sam back to fire us back to the promised land!!

"There is always room to improve. I am always trying my best. I have just come back from injury, and I am still trying to improve, but I feel confident every time I go on that pitch.

"For the fans, you want to win these games and bounce back after what happened in the last two games.

Leicester have lost their last five Premier League matches and boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has had his say on tonight's action against Crystal Palace.

"A game of football is never the same," he said. "I look at their squad, I look at their players and the qualities they have within the team, from back to front and that is a very good Premier League side.

"We have to be aware of that. Very strong centre-backs and very good wing-backs, players up front that can change the game in a matter of seconds. It's going to be a tough one for us. We want to compete, do well, show what we're about in our way and it's a good challenge for Wednesday."

Everton fan and season-ticket holder James says he grew up supporting the club during David Moyes' first spell in-charge.

The 28-year-old says the Scot's appointment will bring more "positivity" to the club and the "best replacement" for Sean Dyche that they could have hoped for.

"He is a safe pair of hands," James tells BBC Sport. "If Moyes did not have any previous affiliation with the club then he would not have come here.

"He did very well with West Ham, won a European trophy with them, and with the struggles that Julen Lopetegui had, you saw the impact Moyes made.

"A mid-table finish this season would be good - there is a lot to lose if we go down."

Arsenal make four changes from the side dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United.

Raheem Sterling makes only his third Premier League start for the club. Thomas Partey, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard are also in.

Gabriel Jesus misses out with a knee injury which will keep him sidelined for a long time, with Jorginho, Mikel Merino and Gabriel Martinelli also replaced.

Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Odegaard, Partey, Rice, Sterling, Havertz, Trossard. Subs: Neto, Tierney, Martinelli, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Merino, Butler-Oyedeji, Kabia.

Tottenham make five changes from the side who laboured to an extra-time win over Tamworth. Son Heung-min, Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall come back in.

Goalkeeper Fraser Forster is not involved.

Tottenham Hotspur: Kinsky, Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence, Bissouma, Sarr, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Solanke, Son. Subs: Austin, Reguilon, Richarlison, Maddison, Johnson, Lankshear, Moore, Olusesi, Hardy.

  18. Arsenal must continue derby winning streakpublished at 18:45 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Arsenal v Tottenham (20:00 GMT)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal have won six and drawn one of their last eight league games against Tottenham and they have every incentive to continue that winning streak following Liverpool's draw at Nottingham Forest last night.

If Arsenal win tonight they will be four points behind Liverpool having played one game - and the door will be slightly ajar.

Can Arsenal find that clinical edge that eluded them in two desperately disappointing games at home, where they lost to Newcastle United in The Carabao Cup semi-final first leg then went out on penalties to Manchester United in the FA Cup third round?

Arsenal had 49 shots in those two games and scored only one goal, defender Gabriel's deflected shot in the FA Cup tie.

Not good enough by anyone's measure.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says Dominic Solanke has exceeded his expectations since arriving in the summer for £65m.

Solanke, who signed from Bournemouth, has scored 11 goals in all competitions for Spurs and also provided six assists.

"I don't know who else was in for him," said Postecoglou. "I'm just glad we got him.

"If you're trying to sign a striker with proven pedigree these days, it's pretty hard not to spend. Nothing is a sure thing, but I thought he was a real safe bet for us.

"We knew we were getting a proven Premier League striker who was going to fit into our style of play, which is the most important thing. But even in terms of what I was hoping for, he's exceeded that.

"Dom has been outstanding in the way he has carried the frontline for us during this period. We put a lot of demands on that position. It's not just him standing up there scoring goals - it's working hard for the team.

"I really think if Richy [Richarlison] was available, I think he [Solanke] would have been able to contribute even greater for us in terms of his output in goals.

"He's been great for us and I really feel there is more to him and his game. We'll be able to get more out of him if we can get him some help."
