  1. Lewandowski equalises from the spotpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Benfica 1-1 Barcelona

    Barcelona are level.

Alejandro Balde is fouled in the box and Robert Lewandowski steps up to slot home his 102nd Champions League goal from the spot.

    Relief for the away side.

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Lille knock it around well at the back before hitting a great ball forward for Gabriel Gudmundsson. They play it across the Liverpool box before a cross is put in and Virgil van Dijk is there to head clear.

  3. Guirassy puts Dortmund aheadpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Bologna 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

The goals are flying in now!

Serhou Guirassy scores from the spot but Lukasz Skorupski will be disappointed as he got a big hand to that.

  4. Stuttgart take the leadpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Slovan Bratislava 0-1 Stuttgart

Deniz Undav, formerly of Brighton, plays a delightful through ball into the path of Jamie Leweling who slots home from close range.

    Stuttgart are in front.

  5. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Jarell Quansah looks for the run of Mo Salah over the top again. That's clearly something Liverpool have identified as a way through this Lille backline.

  6. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Thoughts on gloves and short sleeves? Surely you'd stick a base layer on to go with the gloves?

  7. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Ryan Gravenberch slips a ball through the lines for Dominik Szoboszlai. He then plays a lovely little wall pass off Darwin Nunez but Lille defend well again.

  8. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Lille come down the left again and the ball is cut back towards Jonathan David. The offside flag quickly follows but I've no idea why because he was miles onside.

  9. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Lille are pressing Liverpool really high as a long ball from Virgil van Dijk to Dominik Szoboszlai is just too hard.

The ball over the top could be the way to avoid this press.

  10. 'Liverpool fans want Nunez to do well'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

    Stephen Warnock
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Liverpool fans are desperate for Darwin Nunez to do well.

They will be hoping that his goals at Brentford at the weekend will give him some confidence.

  11. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Mo Salah is found again on the right by Dominik Szoboszlai. He cuts inside on that dangerous left foot and looks to bend one into the top corner but he doesn't quite get enough power on the strike.

  12. Benfica take an early leadpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Benfica 1-0 Barcelona

    Well, well, well.

Benfica take a very early lead. Alvaro Fernandez sends a cross into the box and Vangelis Pavlidis sweeps home to stun Barcelona.

  13. Postpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

You can see why Lille are 21 games unbeaten. They're popping the ball around well and look a threat going forward to go with it. Could be a very entertaining game!

  14. 'Thunderbolt of a shot'published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

    Stephen Warnock
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Straight away Gudmundsson bullied Conor Bradley and opened up on his left foot.

He unleashed a thunderbolt of a shot and I am not sure Alisson would have got there had it been on target.

  15. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Mo Salah is found racing down the right wing and he tries a trivela cross with his left foot but Lucas Chevalier gathers with ease.

  16. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

    Ian Dennis
BBC Radio 5 Live senior football reporter

Liverpool will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent winning record - the only team to do that this season in this new league format.

  17. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Lille

Oooo now that is a proper start from Lille!

They win the ball from Liverpool's kick-off and left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson surges forward and has a go from outside of the box but it's wide of Alisson's post. It had the Brazilian scrambling though.

Not sure why people are talking about sixteen points being enough for Top 8 - there's absolutely no chance of that happening. Villa vs Celtic is a dead rubber for Villa, we can play the kids.

  20. 'Lille are a danger'published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January

    Liverpool v Lille (20:00 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lille are a danger. You don't beat Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the same season without having a bit of quality.

They will be there to capitalise on any slip-ups.
