Leeds United take a deserved lead into half-time.

Stoke City came out of the traps quite quickly in the first couple of minutes, but since then the Whites have taken complete control.

The dominance finally paid off shortly before the interval when Joel Piroe went through and smashed in off the bar to give Daniel Farke's side the lead.

Looked a bit nasty that as he catches Byram on the top of his foot but it's only yellow.

Viktor Johansson is going to try and power on for Stoke but he still looks in pain.

Four minutes added on at the end of the half after that stoppage.

More bad news for Stoke immediately after going behind.

Goalkeeper Viktor Johansson, who has made a few great saves already tonight, is down injured and looks to be in a lot of pain.

We're yet to restart and the Swede is still receiving attention from the physio.

The system is not working, it does not suit Stoke, they will have to change it to stop Leeds' possession game.

Potentially even further bad news for the home side as Viktor Johansson is now down receiving treatment and he has been one of Stoke's best players this season.

Stoke defender Ashley Phillips hauls Joel Piroe to the ground on halfway and that's about as blatant a yellow card as they come.

Dan James cuts inside and fires a ball through the crowd but it goes straight through to Stoke keeper Viktor Johansson.

Wish I had listened to my physical geography teacher 'Windy' Miller a bit harder now all those years ago and could give a reasonable explanation as to what has caused the fog to lift as suddenly as it has.

But the fact is it has - and the game has become a better spectacle for it.

It's so nice being able to see what's going on - and not just rely on the crowd reactions.

Having said that, the fog is now starting to drift back.

Dan James is causing problems for Stoke on the Leeds right.

He floats a ball into the box for Joel Piroe but he can't connect properly with his header from 12 yards out and it drifts wide.

He shanked it off the shin when the goal was gaping, and really Leeds should be one up.

It is like waist high and he is trying to get his leg up to it.

If he was a centre-half he never would have thought about getting his leg up to it, he'd have headed it.

Wow, Manor Solomon should put Leeds one up.

Dan James gets in down the right again and floats a ball to the back stick.

Solomon is unmarked and meets it with his left foot - or shin it seems - but puts it wide.

A reminder that Stoke won this fixture 1-0 last season. They'd probably snap your hand off for that right now.

Leeds are knocking on the door.

Joel Piroe almost gets in on goal after a neat ball through by Manor Solomon but Ashley Phillips just gets a toe on it for Stoke to take it away from him.

You'd probably say the only thing missing from this Leeds performance so far is that killer end product.

The Whites are dominating possession and creating good openings but are still yet to find the opener.

Yet another lovely move by Leeds and Dan James is the latest Leeds player to have a pop at goal.

His effort from inside the box flies high and wide, though.
