Charles de Ketelaere scored twice and provided three assists as Atalanta ran out 6-1 winners away at Swiss side Young Boys in the Champions League.

Last season’s Europa League winners continue to thrive in Europe's top tier this season, with the victory in Bern leaving them in fourth place in the table, unbeaten after five games.

A fifth defeat from five games for hosts Young Boys leaves them pointless and rock bottom of the standings in their worst ever performance in a Champions League campaign.

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen cruised past Red Bull Salzburg to seal their third Champions League win of the season.

Florian Wirtz gave the home side an early lead from the penalty spot after the ball had struck Samson Baidoo on the elbow inside the area.

It was 2-0 just three minutes later, Alejandro Grimaldo curling a magnificent free-kick over the wall and into the net following Lucas Gourna-Douath’s foul on Wirtz.

The game was all but over as a contest on the half-hour mark, when Wirtz combined well with Grimaldo before sending a right-footed shot beyond goalkeeper Alexander Schlager.

Julian Alvarez's double inspired Atletico Madrid to a thumping Champions League win at Sparta Prague.

Diego Simeone's side started the match in 23rd spot in the league table - just inside the play-off places - and looking to record consecutive European wins having beaten Paris St-Germain in their most recent fixture.

This was the first competitive meeting between Sparta and Atletico - and it was ignited in the first half by former Manchester City forward Alvarez, who bent a superb free-kick into the top corner.

Pep overthinking again. Too worried about Sunday's game with the subs. Just leave the team as it was and get the win.

Jude Bellingham: Real Madrid star says he felt like a scapegoat after the Euros

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham says he has got his smile back after "feeling a bit like the scapegoat" for England's failure to win Euro 2024 in the summer.

Bellingham scored England's first goal of the tournament in a 1-0 victory against Serbia, before scoring a 95th-minute overhead-kick equaliser against Slovakia to save Gareth Southgate's side from elimination in the last 16.

England were eventually defeated 2-1 by Spain as they lost their second European Championship final in three years.

"I lost my smile a lot playing for England after the Euros as I felt I was a little mistreated compared to what I contributed," Bellingham said before Real Madrid's Champions League meeting with Liverpool.

    "[The] smile is back [now].

This is all so unlike the Manchester City of recent years.

We are used to them dominating, not throwing away a 3-0 lead at home (on the back of a 4-0 defeat).

It is the first time City have conceded two or more goals in six successive matches for more than 60 years.

So what is going wrong? Can Pep Guardiola turn things around for Sunday's Premier League clash against Liverpool?

Bayern Munich boosted their hopes of a top-eight finish in the league phase with a narrow victory over Paris St-Germain, who remain winless in the Champions League since September.

Defender Kim Min-jae scored the only goal seven minutes before the interval, nodding home from close range after PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov had failed to deal with Joshua Kimmich's inswinging corner.

Ousmane Dembele, already on a yellow card for remonstrating with referee Istvan Kovacs in the first half, was sent off for a second bookable offence in the second when he caught Alphonso Davies with a late challenge.

Bukayo Saka said "this is where we belong" after Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Champions League with a resounding victory over Sporting at Estadio Jose Alvalade.

Mikel Arteta's side were comfortable throughout, in what could have been a tricky away fixture, as Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Gabriel, Saka and Leandro Trossard all scored.

The Gunners registered as many goals at Sporting as they managed in their previous eight Champions League away matches combined, in a result that lifts them to seventh in the table.

"We've shown the level we can play at," Saka said. "We know they haven't lost here this season but we believed in ourselves."

Manchester City blew a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord in the Champions League as their wretched form continued at a stunned Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side looked to be cruising after two goals from Erling Haaland and another from Ilkay Gundogan put the hosts into a commanding lead.

But the Dutch visitors staged a stunning comeback to take a point back to Rotterdam to the delight of their 5,000 travelling fans.
