    The fanbase is showing their appreciation. Chelsea have fresh legs and quality coming onto the pitch - the depth of their squad is clear to see.

    Everton are literally unwatchable. School of science is dead, the teams battling relegation in the 90s had bad players but managed to win with grit and determination. This lot are mediocre players with no plan or direction and don't seem to care either way. The new owners have a huge job to turn it around.

    What a let off!

    A mistake by Ezri Konsa and Nicolas Jackson is charging towards the Villa goal but substitute goalkeeper Robin Olsen does enough to put the Chelsea forward off.

    Villa respond by sending on Jhon Duran and Leon Bailey.
