A howler of an own goal from Cardiff goalkeeper Ethan Horvath gave Burnley the ideal start, and while the visitors piled pressure on in search of a leveller they go into the break 2-0 down.

Luca Koleosho was the one to double the Clarets' advantage, finishing well after latching onto a rebounded save.

No score at Vicarage Road, although Watford have had the better of it and went closest when James Morris struck the crossbar.

Four or five times now, Hull have gone from back to front and got themselves in good positions. Plymouth don't have the quality up front.

Going forward, I'm really impressed with Hull City. Defensively, they've been shaky but not as much as they have been.

It's an evenly balanced game but I think Hull are the better team. I'm feeling more positive at this performance.

Early goals for Anis Mehmeti and Sinclair Armstrong - his first for the club - give City a two-goal cushion at the break.

Ryan Leonard almost pulled one back for the visitors with his volley that struck the post.

Matt Grimes missed a penalty in Swansea's last home league game, seeing his spot-kick saved by the late Matija Sarkic when the Swans lost at home to Millwall on the final day of last season.

This time, however, Grimes emphatically converts his spot-kick.

Swansea are well worth their lead having dominated this first half.

Birmingham hit back and find an equaliser to make it 1-1 with Wycombe. Alfie May is in the right place at the right time to tap in from close range.

Elsewhere, Huddersfield's Josh Koroma has headed his side into a 1-0 lead over Stevenage.

Watford are still creating the better chances without finding a way past Viktor Johansson.

Latest to test the Stoke goalkeeper is Moussa Sissoko, whose effort takes a deflection on it way through to Johansson's gloves.

Norwich's Gabriel Forsyth strikes a brilliant effort towards the top corner of the net but Blackburn keeper Aynsley Pears gets across well to palm it away.
