Luton Town travel to Fratton Park for the second game week of the Championship season.

The Hatters are looking to get their first points of the campaign after a tough opening day 4-1 defeat to Burnley.

John Mousinho's Portsmouth will want to build on the point they picked up at Elland Road last weekend in a dramatic 3-3 draw against Leeds.

Luton have not won a league game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park since September 1975.

Portsmouth haven’t lost their opening home game of a league campaign since 2013-14.

    West Brom XI

Leeds boss Daniel Farke makes just one enforced change to the line-up that drew 3-3 against Portsmouth last weekend.

Dutch forward Joel Piroe is starting in place of Georginio Rutter, who is understood to be on his way to Brighton.

West Brom are unchanged from the side that triumphed 3-1 at QPR in their opening game.

Jed Wallace and Grady Diangana are both among the substitutes - as is the on-loan Paddy McNair, who could make his league debut for the Baggies.

Promoted together from the Championship in 2020, West Brom and Leeds are among the favourites to follow the same path again this season – yet both go into today’s clash nursing a headache or two.

With the EFL keeping a close eye on the Baggies’ finances, a clutch of players were sold just before the start of the campaign and owner Shilen Patel has recently agreed to settle an outstanding £3.7m loan taken out by a previous regime at The Hawthorns.

On the field, Albion were quick out of the blocks last weekend, with Josh Maja grabbing a hat-trick as Carlos Corberan’s side triumphed 3-1 away to Queens Park Rangers.

Leeds – who, like their opponents, lost out to Southampton in the play-offs last season – have also seen several key players depart, with forward Georginio Rutter reported to be following Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville through the Elland Road exit.

The Yorkshire side salvaged a late point in their opening game, with Brenden Aronson’s injury-time strike securing a 3-3 draw against newly-promoted Portsmouth.

Leeds have won only once in their last five trips to The Hawthorns, although that was a stand-out 5-0 victory in the Premier League five months after both teams’ 2020 promotion success.

Swedish goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom is named on the bench for Derby County, just a day after completing his more to the Rams from Djurgarden.

Josh Vickers keeps the gloves for this one and starts in goal for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough make just one change from their opening-day win against Swansea with Riley McGree replaced by Delano Burgzorg.

Striker Tommy Conway is named on the bench after joining from Bristol City less than 24 hours ago.

After 833 days, Championship football is back at Pride Park!

Derby Country's return to the second tier started with an opening-day defeat by Blackburn last week, but there is a buzz about Rams-town today ahead of their first home league game.

The last time they played a Championship game at home, the already relegated Rams - who were in administration - were beaten by Cardiff.

Today, Derby welcome a Middlesbrough side that has made an impressive start to the season.

Michael Carrick's side started the league campaign with victory at home against Swansea, then hit the road for a glorious 3-0 Carabao Cup first-round win at Leeds United.

Can Boro now make it three from three in all competitions in the first seven days of the season?

Hayes Lane is beginning to fill up for its first ever taste of the EFL.

Bromley's brand new pitch is glistening in the sun, looking like it cost every penny of that £750,000 spent on it.

Here summarising for BBC Radio 5 Live is former Wycombe Wanderers and QPR manager Gareth Ainsworth, who says he feels for Bromley, and others, who are forced to upgrade their pitches after promotion.

But Ainsworth rates the Ravens' chances of staying up this season and is expecting a good game today.

"The result everyone was raving about last night I don't think was a fluke, I believe it was a well-earned win," he said.

"It'll be a bigger test today, obviously these teams met in the week, but I think both teams are going to go for it today.

"I do think Andy Woodman is the type of new-age manager who will get the best out of a team with a small budget.

"What it does is it keeps the fairytales alive at Bromley.

"Coming here to this stadium, it almost has a Wycombe feeling about it. It's like there's no expectation, there's joy in what they're doing, which at a lot of clubs there isn't and there's a lot of ill feeling when things go wrong.

"The club is set up for a decent season and I think survival is very much achievable, and that would be a fantastic achievement for this football club."

Just one change for either side from their opening day victories, with Danny Imray coming in for Joshua Passley, who was injured in the game against Harrogate.
