Not long back in central Scotland after supporting the magnificent Sky Blues at Wembley yesterday. So proud of the team and the fans. If you want to see class watch any interview given by Mark Robins after any match, he never criticises the officials and is always complimentary to the opposition. What a manager he is for Coventry City. To those thinking that he should manage in the Premier League - he will, with Coventry City. Thank you Mark Robins, you have restored pride not only in the football club but also in the city. We are all proud to say we support Coventry City.

  2. Arteta incoming...published at 13:54 British Summer Time 22 April

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Arsenal

We expect to hear from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta any time soon, when he will discuss Tuesday's match at home to Chelsea.

Victory would see the Gunners move back three points clear of Liverpool and four points ahead of Manchester City, albeit having played more games than their rivals for the Premier League title.

Liverpool will play their game in hand at home to Everton on Wednesday, while City, who will have two games to make up on Arsenal, are next in action at Brighton on Thursday.

  3. Phil McNulty Q&A - should Arsenal have signed a striker?published at 13:49 British Summer Time 22 April

#bbcfootball, WhatsApp on 03301231826 or text 81111 (UK only, standard message rates apply)

Aaron G, Bristol: You stated Mikel Arteta had made three questionable decisions in replacing Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya, Kai Havertz was only an “Arteta vanity project” and he should have signed a striker. How do you reflect on those statements now?

It’s a fair cop, Aaron. I did say all of those things in January. I have no problem saying I was absolutely wrong on the first two but I still feel I am right about the third one. There have been one or two instances recently, Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Aston Villa at home, when I felt it cried out for a natural striker.

In Arteta’s defence on that one, it may just have been he was unable to find the right one in January but I still think he needs one in the summer.

  4. Phil McNulty Q&A - is Luton praise deserved?published at 13:47 British Summer Time 22 April

Eddie, Maidenhead: Luton Town and their manager Rob Edwards have received great praise, including from you, for their efforts this season and yet they still look likely to go down and turn in performances like Saturday when Brentford thrashed them, and when they went from 3-0 up to lose 4-3 at Bournemouth. Has the praise been over the top?

I’m comfortable with my praise for them because I think they have had a real go at the Premier League this season with limited resources and have been great to watch in a superb atmosphere at Kenilworth Road. Their downfall, so far, has been losing too many games from really good positions.

I take all those points you have made but, despite Saturday, they still have a chance of staying up with four games left. They will take that and I admit I thought their fate would probably be sealed by now.

A final word from Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on racist abuse towards Nicolas Jackson on social media after their FA Cup loss: "All public people suffer, more in football, because people hide behind social media.

"We need to be on social media because it is a good way to communicate with the good fans.

"The most important thing is to be strong and not think that it is a reference about you."

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on Nottingham Forest's post on X following Sunday's defeat at Everton: "I do not want to get involved in a matter that I cannot be involved in."

On a potential Jack Grealish handball in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final defeat: "The most important thing is to talk about my games and my club. I'm disappointed that we didn't win on Saturday.

"Of course, there is an action that maybe the referee or VAR can interpret is a penalty or not. But we need to move on because we cannot change it."

On the mood of his players: "The mood is good because we played so well against one of the best teams in the world [Manchester City].

"Our performance was really good, positive things that we need to take. We conceded a goal that we shouldn't concede but that's football. We created so many chances against the best team in the world, that is a good thing.

"We need to keep working in this way in the future. To reach this level we have to keep working, try to add things to the team that can help us. This is our first season together.

"We need to be happy because the evolution is situations is good."

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

More from Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on Nicolas Jackson bouncing back from his failure to put away chances in the FA Cup semi-final: "We were talking yesterday and he was tired more than he normally is because all of the players wanted to win and go to the final.

"But he is young and needs to live these situations to improve. Today the whole team was much better."

On playing again so soon after the FA Cup defeat to Manchester City: "That is the fixture. What can we do? It's impossible to change so we have to accept it. We were in the Carabao Cup until the end, now in the FA Cup almost to the end.

"It's not the best thing but we have to accept it. At the moment there is nothing we can do."

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

Chelsea's form over the past five Premier League games is actually a little better than Arsenal's.

Over that period, the Gunners dropped in a goalless draw at title rivals Manchester City and in a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa.

Chelsea have won three and drawn two, although both the games they failed to win were against teams in the bottom three - away to Sheffield United and at home to Burnley.

  12. 'We believe we can get to Arsenal's level'published at 13:12 British Summer Time 22 April

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

More from Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on reaching Arsenal's level: "We are confident to one day get to the same level. Of course, we are optimistic and in football the most important is to believe and have the plan to get to this level.

"Arsenal were in a different situation a few years ago when Arteta arrived. Then with time, a few years of trust and confidence in him, they're there. It's happened with different coaches like Pep [Guardiola] or Klopp.

"We need to have time to work."

  13. Jackson is doing 'an amazing job'published at 13:09 British Summer Time 22 April

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Mauricio Pochettino on striker Nicolas Jackson, following his struggles in front of goal in Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City: "First season is always difficult for all the players, especially when you are a striker and need to perform and score goals.

"Everyone expects you to score a goal with every touch. He is our main striker, the only striker that we have fit because [Christopher] Nkunku nearly didn't play the whole season, [Armando] Broja also then moved to Fulham because he wanted to play more.

"[Jackson] is doing fantastic, he's doing an amazing job for the team, running, scoring goals and giving assists. He's a young guy coming from Spain and he's done fantastic.

"If we compare with [Didier] Drogba, yes, he is always going to lose. We need to split the history of the club with the performance of Jackson.

"He has all my support because even if he doesn't always score, the way he is fighting for the club and his team-mates... he is going to be better next season, no doubt. He just needs to keep going."

Mauricio Pochettino on the future of Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva at Chelsea: "He was saying after [the FA Cup semi-final] that now is not the time to talk.

"When he wants to communicate some things, he will and for sure the club will communicate the situation.

"So far we were not talking, we were in the semi-final of the FA Cup and now are trying to finish high up the league table."

More from Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on the prospect of playing Arsenal without Cole Palmer: "With or without him, we believe that we can win. The most important is the team, the collective.

"Of course, he is an important part of the team and is doing fantastic but this is Chelsea and there are plenty of players who can perform and do a job also."

On Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell injuries: "Malo [Gusto] suffered a minor injury, a little problem with the ligament of his knee. I'm not a doctor but it's not a big issue.

"Chilly after playing for the national team has the same issue he has had over the last few weeks."

  16. 'I don't believe Palmer can be involved'published at 12:58 British Summer Time 22 April

Nicolas Jackson has had a good first season for Chelsea. He's worth persevering with and has already scored as many goals as Didier Drogba did in his first season.

But in the crunch game - the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley - he missed three really big chances. They were chances you'd expect to be converted at that level.

You have to be scoring at least one of them. To miss all three chances let Manchester City off the hook.

  18. 'Another missed opportunity for Chelsea'published at 12:55 British Summer Time 22 April

FA Cup: Man City 1-0 Chelsea

    Luke Edwards
Daily Telegraph writer on the Football Daily podcast

Chelsea played well but it's another missed opportunity [against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday]. We go back to the Carabao Cup final defeat by Liverpool.

They didn't bottle it but to go to Wembley twice in a season and come away with defeats that really they will know they had chances to win will hurt.

They are getting better under Mauricio Pochettino and there are encouraging signs, but again, in big crunch moments, they've come up short. That will be a source of frustration.

You're not going to have that many chances against a Manchester City side performing that badly very often as long as Pep Guardiola is manager. They didn't take their chance.

  20. Quick turnaround for Chelseapublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 22 April

Arsenal v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Alex Howell
    BBC football news reporter

It's a quick turnaround for Chelsea after their defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.

The Blues take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday and now they're out of the cup the last thing they can play for is European qualification through their league position.

They're unbeaten in their last eight Premier League matches and Mauricio Pochettino will have to lift his players for the final few matches after another disappointment at Wembley.
