These two sides are both looking for their first league win of the season although the similarities between the two end there.

Hull City opened with a 1-1 draw with Bristol City before drawing by the same scoreline at Plymouth last week.

    For Millwall? Slightly more drama.

The Lions fought back from 2-0 down at home on the opening day to Watford only to fall to a 3-2 reverse and last week went one... worse as they led Bristol City 3-2 having trailed 2-0, only to lose 4-3.

Bristol City's summer recruitment to bolster their attacking line-up has so far been paying off, with Sinclair Armstrong, Scott Twine and Fally Mayulu all on the scoresheet as they edged Millwall 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller last Saturday.

Twine comes in alongside Armstrong to start today, while another new addition this week - defensive midfielder Marcus McGuane - is on the bench.

The Robins are looking to keep up their unbeaten league start to the season at home against a Coventry side who have already got the better of them this campaign, with the Sky Blues winning 1-0 in the EFL Cup when they met 11 days ago.

Coventry are also looking for back-to-back Championship wins and also produced a late winner in their last outing, with Haji Wright's 96th minute goal giving them all three points against Oxford.

The Championship action for the weekend got under way on Friday evening with the Yorkshire derby between Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds.

It was the Whites who took the spoils, and their first win of the season to boot, with a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Brenden Aaronson marked his first league start for the club since April 2023 with the opener and Dan James grabbed the second shortly after the interval.

Summer seems to have taken a brief hiatus this weekend by the look of the weather up and down the country as we go into another EFL Saturday with what we presume are a lot of soggy pitches.

We've got three Championship games kicking-off this lunchtime, including a Luton side looking for their first win of the season, as well as two apiece in Leagues One and Two, before a packed afternoon schedule awaits after.

So with that being said, let's get started and stuck in.
