Instead of this debate over who to pick between Rashford and Garnacho, what is Hojlund doing to justify selection? I would play Rashford up front in the middle with Bruno, Amad and Garnacho behind him.

It seems crazy that Bruno Fernandes has made 250 appearances for Manchester United already doesn't it? Still feels like a fairly new signing to me but it is nearly five years since he came to England.

He signed the day before the first Covid cases in the country were announced. It's been a busy schedule to be fair.

Anyway, his corner is dealt with.

  3. 'Milenkovic a massive addition for Forest'published at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

I just wanted to mention Milenkovic who has been a real good addition. He's got a real good partnership with Murillo. He's really commanding and keeps the back line high and all in a row.

Massive addition for Forest this season.

Can someone explain why Yates' elbow on Livramento hasn't gone to VAR?

It was checked and cleared by the VAR, Nicholas...

  5. 'Vicario is beaten if that's on target'published at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Something Tottenham haven't really dealt with well is set-plays against. This one is just fired into the far post - there's a lot of bodies in there and it's knocked on to the crossbar. It's a decent header and Vicario is beaten if that's on target.

If you were to tell me at the beginning of the season that Man City would lose 4 games in a row and that Nottingham Forest would be 3rd in the table, I would have said you were out of your mind, but here we are.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

    First real chance for Newcastle.

A scrappy bit of play sees the ball end up at Joe Willock's feet on the edge of the area. He takes one touch to shift it onto his left foot but curls just wide of the far corner.

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

It's been a game of chances already. Rodrigo Bentancur's shot is blocked and lands at the feet of Dominic Solanke, whose effort is deflected over by a defender.

The corner is cleared by Cameron Burgess.

Now Spurs capain Son Heung-min beats two or three defenders and has an effort saved by Arijanet Muric.

It says everything about Manchester United's season that barring a big win, or a heavy defeat, they will end this match round in 13th or 14th.

An away win will take Leicester above their hosts, while United would have to win by four to get above Bournemouth, or lose by three to go below West Ham.

After 11 games, it is simply not good enough, which is why Erik ten Hag is out of a job.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

Ipswich hit the bar. Leif Davis' corner finds Cameron Burgess - and his header from a tight angle comes back off the woodwork.

Spurs counter quickly and Brennan Johnson shoots over.

  11. 'Burn on a yellow is not ideal'published at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Burn takes the yellow card which he will probably feels like he has to do but gets the suspension now.

Having a central defender on a yellow for more than 80 minutes is not ideal with the pace Forest have on the counter-attack. Newcastle have this high line too.

    Man Utd 0-0 Leicester

Leicester do indeed keep the ball for an attractive spell but one slack pass kills it and United counter well, Casemiro whipping in a cross that nearly falls for a red shirt at the far post.

It's pretty end to end so far.

TundePaul_1 on X: This is an interesting game. Nottingham Forest has been magnificent this season. They have found ways to win, hence sitting in third position in the table.

Newcastle are 12th but they know a win today will close the gap between them to one point. Momentum can change very quickly.

  14. Postpublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

Positive spell of play from Ipswich - with even Dara O'Shea going forward in open play for this move - and they win a corner.

    Man Utd 0-0 Leicester

    Michael Brown

Leicester need to get a couple of passes to calm their nerves because Manchester United look sharp.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

An early booking for Dan Burn. It's his fifth of the season and he'll miss their next match against West Ham.

He hauled down Morgan Gibbs-White on the halfway line as the England midfielder tried to counter-attack.

Newcastle are furious. They thought there was a foul on Tino Livramento at the other end. He's needing to have treatment because he's bleeding from the mouth.

  17. 'It's a good start to the game'published at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a good start to the game. I don't expect Ipswich to have no chances on goal because of the way Tottenham play but you do expect Tottenham to cause them a lot of problems in those forward areas.

  18. Postpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Man Utd 0-0 Leicester

Wilfred Ndidi is often the furthest man forwards for Leicester as United have the ball, I can't think of a falser nine but I imagine it's something to do with pressing.

  19. Postpublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

A very long spell of Spurs possession finds Dominic Solanke in the box but he just can't get his shot away.

It's a really good start to this game. It's been exciting and positive from both teams.
