I would normally play Garnacho ahead of Rashford - but this is Leicester, a team at the bottom who we thrashed the other week, so if there was ever a decent opportunity to give Marcus some confidence back it's surely this one

    Man Utd 0-0 Leicester

Amad Diallo's first touch on the edge of the area is ended by a crunching tackle from Boubakary Samare. Leicester aren't going to let him shoot if they can help it.

  5. 'You expect it is going to be tough for Ipswich'published at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You expect Ipswich to be on the back foot for a lot of this game. Tottenham like to dominate possession, especially at home, and you expect it's going to be tough for Ipswich.

    Tottenham 0-0 Ipswich

Two or three questionable bits of Spurs play in a row let Omari Hutchison find Sam Szmodics in the box. The forward beats a defender and forces a save from Guglielmo Vicario at the near post.

The resulting corner is flicked just wide by a header.

  7. 'Great atmosphere at the City Ground'published at 14:03 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

They are up for it here, fans really vocal. You can hear it. It is a great atmosphere at the City Ground. It will be real good test for them.

I think it is more important for Newcastle today given the run they have been on.

    Man Utd 0-0 Leicester

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Vardy will be a huge miss. He's the leader in this side. In Jordan Ayew, they've got a seasoned campaigner who can lead the line.

  9. Postpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Newcastle

    An early chance for Forest.

They earn a free-kick on the right and it is whipped in behind the Newcastle defence.

It's met by Ryan Yates but he doesn't make a clean connection with the header. It ends up with Chris Wood, but his effort is blocked.

The linesman raises his flag for offside anyway.

Diogo Dalot took Amad Diallo to one side just before kick-off for some lengthy advice, they partner up down the right for United today.

Jamie Vardy, meanwhile, is missing for the Foxes with a back injury today. Nice little break over the internationals maybe?

Tottenham Hotspur v Ipswich Town (14:00 GMT)

    • Tottenham have won just three of their 10 Premier League games against Ipswich (D3 L4). Excluding ever-present sides, it’s their lowest win rate against any opponent they’ve faced 10+ times in the competition.
    • Ipswich have won their last three Premier League games against Spurs, completing the double over them the last time they met in 2001-02. They’ve never won four consecutive league games against them.
    • Tottenham have won 32 of their last 36 Premier League home games against promoted sides (D2 L2), and haven’t failed to score in any of their last 42 such games since a 1-0 loss to Wolves in December 2009.
    • Tottenham have conceded the first goal in each of their last four Premier League home games, but have come back to win the last three. No team has ever conceded first but gone on to win four consecutive home games in the competition before.

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United (14:00 GMT)

    • Nottingham Forest have won just one of their 12 Premier League games against Newcastle (D3 L8), picking up a 3-1 win at St James’ Park last season with Chris Wood scoring a hat-trick.
    • Against no side have Newcastle played more Premier League away games without ever losing than Nottingham Forest (6 – W3 D3). Their last top-flight defeat at the City Ground was in May 1987 (W4 D4 since).
    • Nottingham Forest have won each of their last three Premier League games, last winning four in a row in the top-flight in April/May 1995, a season that saw them finishing third in the table.
    • Chris Wood has scored eight goals from just 21 shots for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this season – no player to have had at least 20 attempts has a better conversion rate than the New Zealander (38.1%) in the competition this term.
    • Newcastle’s Alexander Isak has scored three goals in his two Premier League games against Nottingham Forest, only netting more against Tottenham and West Ham (5 each). He’s looking to score in three or more consecutive Premier League appearances for the fourth time since the start of last season, which would be the most different such runs of any player in that time.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has just presented Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes with a framed shirt to mark his 250th appearance for the club.

There are questions whether Fernandes will get into Ruben Amorim's team given the Sporting coach's preferred formation.

I don't see that personally. Fernandes is by far United's most creative player.

  17. Howe 'understands the club'published at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle (14:00 GMT)

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I wouldn't say Newcastle are as good as they have been over the three years. Fair play to him, I think he understands the club really well. He's [Eddie Howe] given the fans a team they can get behind.

  19. Tottenham 'had a massive bearing on me'published at 13:46 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Tottenham v Ipswich (14:00 GMT)

    Ipswich Town

Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna spent several years in the Spurs academy, before retiring from football, and began his coaching career with the club.

The Northern Irish 38-year-old held a couple of youth coach roles from 2013 to 2016 before leaving for Manchester United.

"It has had a massive bearing on me as a person. It's a great club and one that I have a fondness for," he said.

"From a football perspective, as a player, it was my opportunity and access to the professional game in England. Definitely from a coaching point of view, I was very blessed to be there at the time I was as a coach because from an academy level, the club were country-wide leaders at that time in terms of developing players."

I loved Ruud as a player, but nobody is talking about the elephant in the room. He was clearly brought in to boost the United attack and as we look at the results he has spectacularly underachieved.
