Just to emphasise just how one sided this has been Manchester City hit the woodwork three times since they scored their second goal. Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku and Ilkay Gundogan all hitting the frame of the goal. So no exaggeration to say this could be 5-0.

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Very good first half for Arsenal. I don't think they have had to open up too much to find that two-goal lead, they have not had to apply too much pressure, but they have shown quality in the key moments. They took their chances when they came along.

Phil Foden on the volley, over the top.

The referee puts the hosts out of their misery by not playing any stoppage time.

City lead 2-0 thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Foden. The only surprise is that it is only two as three City players have hit the woodwork with home goalkeeper Dominik Takac also making a couple of decent saves.

One of the most one-sided halves of football you could ever see.

A truly awful set piece delivery from Saka turns into a goal, Arsenal are unstoppable at set pieces. Even when they’re bad, they’re good.

You just think that if Arsenal can make it three before half time, force the issue, then that would be an incredibly big hill to climb for this PSG team.

They are purring at the minute, spent the last ten minutes or so camped in the PSG half and the fans are loving it.

  12. Postpublished at 20:42 British Summer Time 1 October

Paul: Not just saying this based on tonight but PSG are rubbish. They only look good in their own league which is ridiculously weak.

It has been so easy for Hansi Flick's side so far.

    Arsenal 2-0 Paris St-Germain

    Leon Osman

A direct free kick from Bukayo Saka that misses absolutely everybody, whether that was by design or if it was because he didn't hit it as he would have wanted. There was nothing Gianluigi Donnarumma could do about it.
