Not an awful lot to report from Molineux in the opening 15 minutes.

One attempt so far from the home side but it's all very low-key.

Wolves have had four touches in the West Ham box - that's four more than the Hammers have had in the Wolves box.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 26 August

    Peeeep!

Off we go in our 13 19:45 BST kick-offs.

  8. 'People worried they won't have a football club anymore'published at 19:45 British Summer Time 26 August

Sheff Weds v Leeds (20:00 BST)

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hillsborough

The only other thing you can do is stop giving the owner money, so that he can't pay the bills and it becomes unsustainable. Then he's forced to sell that way but if you go down that route then people are going to be worried they won't have a football club anymore.

Two-time runners-up Sunderland are another club making 11 changes tonight. Chelsea loannee Marc Guiu is one of several making his debut.

League One Huddersfield needed penalties to beat Championship Leicester in the first round. Shoot-out hero Lee Nicholls is recalled.

  10. Wednesday fans 'torn' on protestspublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 26 August

Sheff Weds v Leeds (20:00 BST)

    Rob Staton
BBC senior sports journalist on BBC Radio 5 Live

A lot of fans have been torn on this...

If fans don't come to this, they can't go to the away games, and it's at the away games where the bigger protests are happening.

A lot of people have bought tickets for this game that don't even come as they just want the points for the away games.

  11. Nineteen changes between Burnley and Derbypublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 26 August

    Burnley v Derby (19:45 BST)

Burnley manager Scott ParkerImage source, Getty Images

Here's your reminder that Burnley have a completely different XI from their Premier League win over Sunderland at the weekend.

It appears the EFL Cup isn't a priority for Scott Parker's side.

Still, it'll be interesting to see how debutants Max Weiss and Armando Broja get on.

It's a similar story for Derby who make eight changes tonight. Eyes are elsewhere.

I’ve supported Leeds for nigh on 60 years, I get no satisfaction from seeing one of our closest rivals suffering. Hopefully for the club’s fans and staff, they overcome their troubles.

Bournemouth fans will see a familiar face tonight as Brentford striker Dango Ouattara returns to the home of his former club.

The 23-year-old completed a £42.5m move from Bournemouth less than two weeks ago, a club record for the Bees.

Last season Ouattara scored nine goals in 37 games in all competitions for Bournemouth, and on Saturday he scored on his Brentford debut in a 1-0 win over Aston Villa.

Will the Burkina Faso forward come back to haunt the Cherries tonight? Andoni Iraola will hope not.

  14. Wissa remains outpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 26 August

Yoane Wissa returned to Brentford team training last week after saying he wanted to leave the club, but he will not be involved tonight.

Amid interest from Newcastle, Brentford boss Keith Andrews decided to leave the striker out of his squad for the Premier League defeat by Nottingham Forest and win over Aston Villa. He's sticking with that approach against Bournemouth.

"It's just a decision based around what I feel is best for the group," Andrews said.

"As far as I'm concerned, there's been no movement in any way and I fully expect Yoane to be here come next Tuesday [after the transfer deadline]. [Reintegration] is the plan. If I didn't think it would be, my stance on it would probably be different."

Whether Dejphon Chansiri wants to sell, or he can't sell, that's what people are debating.

Are the reasons he doesn't want to, or can't? He doesn't do any interviews, so it's impossible to ask those questions of him. He's only made one statement all summer.

Speaking to people, this is well-sourced information, he doesn't have any intention of selling this football club.

Now, everyone's looking at the football regulator. Will they come in? Will they act?

  19. 'Wages are meant to be paid on Friday'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 26 August

Sheff Weds v Leeds (20:00 BST)

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at Hillsborough

I spoke to the chap on reception and got talking about the situation.

The wages are meant to be paid on Friday. Fans don't turn up tonight. Money doesn't go into the club, so someone like him potentially doesn't get paid.

At the same time, he understands why the fans don't want to come.

Looks like a very attacking line-up for the Clarets. Interested to see what Broja brings to the party...
