I'd take a Sunderland defeat and a win on Saturday against Brentford. Good Luck to Huddersfield and hope they make some money on cup run

    Nelson - Stanhope

  3. 'Staff have not been getting paid'published at 20:07 British Summer Time 26 August

    Sheff Weds 0-0 Leeds

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hillsborough

Staff at Sheffield Wednesday have not been getting paid.

When these cuts happen, the cutbacks and people don't get paid. It is the laundry ladies, it is the kitman, it is the people working in the kitchens.

The important people - the engine rooms of the club.

  4. Postpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 26 August

    Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford

Chances at both ends in quick succession!

Brentford go close through Fabio Carvalho, who pounces on a turnover and brushes the outside of the post with Petrovic beaten.

Bournemouth go up the other end and Ryan Christie's strike from 25-yards out takes a nick and hits the post, before the follow-up is missed by Ben Gannon-Doak.

Suddenly this game has burst into life.

  5. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 26 August

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Molineux

Two West Ham chances, for Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen, briefly threatened to liven this game up but it is a pretty bland affair so far.

Wolves have offered little threat up front and striker Hwang Hee-Chan could do with a goal, having scored just once this year.

  6. goal

    Ar'jany Martha (19 mins)

In the south Yorkshire derby Ar'jany Martha has put Rotherham ahead at Oakwell.

As a Lancashire lad I have no love for any Yorkshire team but I feel so much for Sheffield Wednesday and their staff, players, and, most of all, their fans. There's a lesson for all of us that if you sell your soul...

  8. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 26 August

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Molineux

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira has enough cash in the bank after impressing last season and guiding Wolves away from danger.

Pereira will still be expecting at least two new signings though - with Wolves close to signing Girona defender Ladislav Krejci.

  9. Postpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 26 August

    Sunderland 0-1 Huddersfield

Sunderland have dominated things since they've gone behind. Debutant Marc Guiu has just had an effort blocked.

  10. 'It is bleak'published at 20:03 British Summer Time 26 August

    Sheff Weds 0-0 Leeds

    Michael Vaughan
Former England captain and Sheffield Wednesday on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is bleak. When you have supporter trusts and many trying to say to fans not to go see Leeds United at home in the cup. You know you're in a position where the club is in a distressed state.

As we know in sport and football in particular, you can't get your club back on track if you don't have a safe pair of hands that own it.

  15. Postpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 26 August

    Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford

15 minutes gone but not a lot to report from the Vitality Stadium.

As expected Bournemouth have enjoyed the lion's share of possession, but Eli Kroupi's early strike remains their only effort on goal.

Brentford remain largely untroubled though, despite Bournemouth pressing them high.

    Ryan Hardie (11 mins)

    Instant response for Wrexham!

  18. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 26 August

Sheff Weds v Leeds (20:00 BST)

Around five minutes until kick-off at Hillsborough.

It looks as though there are more travelling Leeds fans inside the ground than home fans right now.

Wednesday fans are voting with their feet and staying away from the troubled club.

    Lewis Dobbin (7 mins)
