    Exeter 1-0 Chesterfield

Exeter's Ryan Woods is in the book to give Chesterfield an early free kick just outside the box.

It gives the visitors their first look at goal but Grecian keeper Joe Whitworth's opening call to action proves too big a mountain for Darren Oldaker's shot.

  2. 'I'm not sure who touched it'published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Leyton Orient 0-1 Oldham

    Pete Wild
Former Oldham manager on BBC Radio Manchester

I'm not really sure how Oldham have scored that.

It's a long throw from Reagan Ogle, it bounces around the front post area, Emmanuel Monthe is wheeling away in celebration claiming he's touched it but I'm not sure who's touched it.

It really changing the dynamic, keep on the front foot and don't do anything silly.

Erik Ring completes the turnaround for the Imps with a blast from just outside the box which beats Eddie Beach.

    Walsall 0-2 Charlton

    Ben Mundy
Final Score at Poundland Bescot Stadium

Charlton are in full control of this potential upset cup tie. The visitors controlled the first half, and fully deserve their two goal lead at the break.

But spare a thought for Walsall boss Mat Sadler. He made six changes prior to kick-off, and has been forced in to two first-half substitutes and now a third.

The real drama is coming off the pitch, though. The press box here at the Poundland Bescot Stadium is packed in amongst the home supporters. The result? I couldn't get to my half-time cup of tea, yet the fan next to me has just whipped out a china cup, and a flask!

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Walsall 0-2 Charlton

Walsall have made a half-time change, with Jamille Matt replacing Albert Adomah.

It's the Saddlers' third substitution - Brandon Comley and Jamie Jellis both went off injured in the first half.

    Hold the front page...

The National League side have the lead.

Reagan Ogle's throw into the box isn't dealt with by the Leyton Orient defence and Manny Monthe gets the last touch.

Pandemonium in the away section, furrowed brows among those with East London affections.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

Tanto Olaofe and Jayden Fevrier are the new men.

  10. goal

GOAL Stevenage 0-1 Mansfieldpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Stephen McLaughlin (48 mins)

Stevenage won at Mansfield in League One last month, but the Stags are out for revenge today.

What a hit this is from Stephen McLaughlin too as he returns a headed clearance from a corner back past Murphy Cooper and into the corner with a powerful volley from just outside the box.

Not much in the way of upsets so far.

Salford’s Cole Stockton scored two in two minutes to take a 2-0 lead at home against Cheltenham, who are one place higher in League Two.

In another all-League Two tie Grant Hall’s header has hauled Swindon level at Accrington, for whom Tyler Walton broke the deadlock, though the visitors have also seen Danny Butterworth sent-off.

Game of the day thus far is at Crawley, who scored two in three minutes early on through Jack Roles and Tola Showumni, only for Lincoln to pull level before the interval through Paudie O'Connor and Jovon Makama.

Barnsley v Bristol Rovers, Cambridge United v Wigan, Morecambe v Bradford and Stevenage v Mansfield are all goalless.

League One side Charlton are firmly on course for the third round after taking control against the team vying for promotion from the division below.

Gassan Ahadme headed in Conor Coventry’s cross for the opener and Matty Godden pounced on Brandon Comley’s woeful back-pass to double the visitors’ lead.

Walsall, who have lost Comley and Jamie Jellis to injury during the first half, have it all to do after the break.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Exeter 1-0 Chesterfield

The home side are completely dominating this tie so far and eventually their efforts pay off as Tristan Crama's added time header puts them in front at the break.

Chesterfield haven't mustered up any shots at goal so far but they will need to start flying them in if they are to have any chance of remaining in the contest and, thus, the cup.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Oldham

Pretty even stuff between these two.

James Norwood has had the best chance of the game but from barely six yards out he sent an effort over the bar from Mike Fondop-Talum's squared ball.

Tom Conlon's also had a free-kick saved by home goalkeeper Josh Keeley.

It took a while for Leyton Orient to get going and a Darren Pratley blocked shot and two efforts wide of the target from Charlie Kelman are the closest they've come to breaking the deadlock.

    This could go either way.

Amazing it's taken so long, really.

Finally one of Exeter's nine shots finds the net as Tristan Crama finds himself free as a bird at the back post ready to head home a cross from Ryan Woods.

  17. goal

GOAL Accrington 1-1 Swindonpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Grant Hall (45+2 mins)

The 10 men are back on terms seconds before the break...

A ball is swung into the Stanley box and it's Grant Hall who rises highest to power a header home to restore parity, in terms of the scoreline at least.

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Oldham

It looks like one of Oldham's tactics is to isolate Ethan Galbraith.

He's playing right back for Leyton Orient today and wants to come into midfield and wants to join in the attacks but certainly defensively has been a weak link.

Oldham have seen a lot of joy down their left hand side because of that and have got lots of crosses into the box.

But what a cup tie, it's been end to end, it's been a great game so far in terms of both teams having a real good tussle against each other.

This is what the FA Cup is all about. League Two's Notts County come back from a goal down against League One's Peterborough to head to the tunnel 2-1 up at half-time.

    Stockport 2-0 Brackley

Stockport players celebrate after going 2-0 up against BrackleyImage source, Rex Features

Pretty comfortable for the League One side who broke the back of this one inside the first 20 minutes with goals from Will Collar and Kyle Wootton.

Wootton might have had a hat-trick with chances either side of the goal he has scored.

Brackley did force Corey Addai into a save from Matt Lowe's strike but it's a mountain to climb for the National North outfit.
