Everton's Jack Harrison (2.9) and Jesper Lindstrom (2.1) have the highest expected goals totals of any players yet to score in the Premier League this season.

And David Moyes picked out the duo and demanded more goals and assists from the wingers ahead of their trip to Wolves.

"Both players are yet to register on either front this season. Let's be fair - you won't have longevity if you're not going to get me assists and goals," Moyes said.

"You have to find ways of coming up with those numbers. I think both have done well but I need goals from them, I need assists from them. They both need to improve greatly on that."

Lindstrom joined on loan from Napoli in the summer while Harrison has been on loan from Leeds for the past two seasons.

Wolves have lost just one of their past seven Premier League home games against Everton (W3 D3), and won this fixture 3-0 last season.

Meanwhile, Everton's 4-0 victory in the reverse fixture in December ended a six-game winless run against Wanderers - and only in 2020-21 have the Blues ever done the Premier League double over the Molineux club.

Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is suspended tonight and waiting to find out his punishment after being charged by the FA for his red card in the FA Cup defeat at Bournemouth.

It is alleged Cunha "acted in an improper manner" after he was sent off for clashing with Cherries defender Milos Kerkez in the final minute of extra time.

Only seven players in the division have more goal involvements than the Brazilian's 17 this season (13 scored, four assists), while Cunha has either scored or set up almost 46% of Wolves' top-flight goals in 2024-25 (17 of 37).

His influence on this Wolves side is for everyone to see and it will be interesting to see how Vitor Pereira will deal with Cunha's absence during a crucial run of fixtures for his side.

Everton's Premier League form has been remarkable since David Moyes returned to the Toffees to replace Sean Dyche.

They lost their first league game of his second reign against Aston Villa, but have embarked on a seven-match unbeaten run since - winning four and drawing three of those games.

They last had a longer unbeaten run when they went nine games without a defeat under Ronald Koeman during the 2016-17 season.

Aston Villa defender Axel Disasi speaking to Sky Sports: “After playing in the Champions League it’s hard to win, but I think today we deserved the three points. In the first half we played very well. At the beginning of the second half we scored, and then we saw the character of the team.

“We need to be more consistent. After the game we lost against Palace [in Villa's last league game], we were hungry and wanted to correct it. The game today was the perfect answer because everyone was fighting.”

On his battle with Kevin Schade: “I just tried to do my best to help the team. I came here to play and to enjoy myself. I’m very happy at Villa.”

On the rest of Villa’s season: “We’ll take it one game at a time. We know we have to be higher in the league. We just have to stay focused. We have another game on Wednesday [in the Champions League]. I hope this kind of game will bring confidence to the team.”

Unai Emery will come away from this game and his team defended really well. They had to be at their maximum to keep Brentford out.

That win moves Aston Villa up to seventh and two points off the top four. It is just their second away win in the Premier League since November.

Brentford's home struggles continue. They are now without a win at the Gtech in seven games stretching back to early December.
