  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 GMT 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Southampton

No goals at the break, but not for the lack of trying.

QPR have had the better of the chances with Nicolas Madsen seeing a shot cleared off the line and Liam Morrison firing narrowly over but Saints have had moments of their own, though not a shot on target, with Ryan Manning's appeals for a penalty waved away and the ball being scrambled away from Paul Nardi's goal too.

It's threatened to spring into life at times but hopefully the second half should be a barnstormer.

  2. INJURY TIMEpublished at 20:33 GMT 5 November

The Swansea goalkeeper has not been in the game, just one routine save to make so far.

Those questions need to be asked.

The North End goalkeeper has been asked to respond way more, but Preston are in front.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:32 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

Conor Ogilvie returned to the side after illness today but he's gone down after a heavy challenge from Issa Kabore, which went unpunished, and looks to be struggling.

Jordan WIlliams is getting ready in case he needs to come on in his stead.

On the field Josh Murphy has just gone on a lung-busting run from midfield and down the left of the area before flashing a powerful shot across the face of Arthur Okonkwo's far post.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:27 GMT 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Southampton

Southampton's turn to come close but they are denied by a vital intervention from R's defender Liam Morrison in his own goalmouth after the recalled Jack Stephens had turned a deep free-kick back into the mixer.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:25 GMT 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Southampton

When he's on it, Ilias Chair is one of the trickiest players in this division.

    He's on it tonight.

The Morocco international cuts inside and drives towards goal before firing just past Gavin Bazunu's upright.

  8. Postpublished at 20:24 GMT 5 November

    Preston 1-0 Swansea

    Swansea are coming alive now.

Preston goalkeeper Daniel Iversen is called into action again to keep out a Liam Cullen strike.

It's still that 30-yard belter from Thierry Small which separates the sides.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

    Oh dear.

Kenny McLean clips in a great ball to Norwich's Oscar Schwartau but rather than try to guide it home, the Dane attempts to control it with only Ethan Horvath to beat and it runs loose and out of play.

    What a waste.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:22 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

First glimpse of goal for Wrexham as Lewis O'Brien's strike from the edge of the box is beaten away by Josef Bursik after some neat approach play from Liberato Cacace.

Moments later from the resulting corner O'Brien whips in a cross to Kieffer Moore at the back post but the red-hot forward's downward header is brilliantly clawed off his line by Bursik diving low to his left.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Liam Palmer is down injured for Sheffield Wednesday and needs treatment.

Across come the players for a drink and words from their coaches.

A penny to be in the huddle of Norwich players with Liam Manning...

Harry Amass sends a decent cross into the Norwich box but Jamal Lowe can't control his header and it's over the bar.

This is worrying from a Norwich perspective - they're finding it so hard to get out of their own half and constantly giving the ball away.

  13. Postpublished at 20:17 GMT 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Southampton

A glimpse of goal for Saints from a free-kick in dangerous territory.

Leo Scienza leaves it for Ryan Manning but his effort is into the wall, and he is unable to get another shot away from the rebound.

Liam Manning appears a woeful coach, but don't forget that almost ALL these overrated players were brought in on excessive fees by Ben Knapper who had never had that sort of responsibility previously. He's the one obviously out of his depth.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

More good work from the home side as Ruairi McConville loses the ball on the halfway line for Norwich.

Max Lowe gets down the left and his cross is blocked for a corner which eventually is worked to Sean Fusire but he shoots wide.

    Norwich were ball watching.

  16. Postpublished at 20:15 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

A bit of light relief for the Pompey fans in a tough week as Wrexham's Issa Kabore makes a hash of his attempted control after a slip from Conor Ogilve and ends up in a heap.

Swansea continue to keep trying to play here, not to any great success yet though.

  18. Postpublished at 20:12 GMT 5 November

    Preston 1-0 Swansea

Preston goalkeeper Daniel Iversen is finally called into action.

He makes a good block with his legs from Adam Idah's shot.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:11 GMT 5 November

    QPR 0-0 Southampton

We've seen some rockets already on Bonfire Night and Liam Morrison wants in on the act.

The Hoops defender picks up the ball 35 yards out after another effort is charged down and thinks, why not... letting fly with a fizzing strike which flies inches over Gavin Bazunu's bar with the keeper at full stretch to his left.

  20. Postpublished at 20:11 GMT 5 November

    Preston 1-0 Swansea

Thierry Small's belter has Preston ahead and, as things stand, up to fourth place in the table.

Surely no Preston supporter expected this?

Only Stoke and Charlton have conceded fewer than Preston's 12 goals this season so this isn't going to be easy for Swansea to get back into - especially when they've only scored five on the road in their six trips.
