  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:44 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

Into the final five minutes of normal time at Fratton Park.

After a typically tireless evening in both boxes Kieffer Moore is being withdrawn by Phil Parkinson with Sam Smith coming on for Wrexham.

No idea how this is still goalless, and I just have a sneaky feeling it might not end up that way...

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Norwich end a six-game losing run in a thrilling match between the bottom two.

Josh Sargent missed a glorious chance to put the Canaries ahead before Barry Bannan's 20-yarder almost took the roof off at Hillsborough.

Vladan Kovacevic pulled off a number of saves for Norwich to keep it at 1-0 before substitute Mathias Kvistgaarden rescued a point for the visitors when converting from Josh Sargent's cross.

Kvistgaarden almost won it in stoppage time only to be denied by Ethan Horvath.

More encouragement for an improving Wednesday but is this result enough to take the heat off Norwich boss Liam Manning?

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:42 GMT 5 November

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

A winning start, and potentially end if they appoint a new manager, for interim boss Tonda Eckert as Southampton end a three-match losing streak with a precious win.

After a forgettable first half, Jay Robinson lashed Saints ahead after a brilliant counter-attack and then Leo Scienza waltzed forward to curl a brilliant second on 69 minutes.

However, Rumarn Burrell nipped past Gavin Bazunu for his fourth goal in five games to set up a frantic finale, though Saints somehow held on to stop the rot as the Hoops fall to a third-straight home defeat.

    Chris Goreham
    BBC Radio Norfolk commentator

What a fantastic save that was from the goalkeeper.

He sprung to his right-hand side, just before it crossed the line.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:40 GMT 5 November

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Ethan Horvath pulls of a fine save to deny Mathias Kvistgaarden at a Norwich corner.

Great reflexes from the Wednesday man.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:40 GMT 5 November

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

    Kitchen sink stuff, this.

Karamoko Dembele's curling cross from the right is glanced on by Sam Field's head at the neat post for Gavin Bazunu to produce a flying save diving to his right to tip the ball over the bar.

Saints look so nervy, perhaps understandably.

    Preston 2-1 Swansea

Preston are up to fourth place.

Thierry Small's rasping 30-yarder and a neat Milutin Osmajic finish get the job done.

Eom Ji-Sung gave Swansea some late hope but their inconsistent season continues while North End go marching on with a third successive win.

  8. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:38 GMT 5 November

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

Deep into SIX added minutes at Loftus Road where Saints are dropping deeper and deeper and defending their own penalty area as the R's try to pinch a point.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:37 GMT 5 November

    Preston 2-1 Swansea

Swansea's Ishe Samuels-Smith is cautioned for fouling Milutin Osmajic.

We've got an extra five minutes folks - time for a winner?

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Vladan Kovacevic to the rescue again for Norwich as he produces a smart stop to deny Bailey Cadamarteri.

    Ross Wallace
Ex-Sheffield Wednesday winger on BBC Radio Sheffield

A few of these Norwich players are going down with cramp but the Wednesday players still look relatively fresh.

(See 20:56 entry wondering whether Wednesday might struggle at this stage with such a small squad and a transfer embargo)

If Norwich don't win tonight, a highly likely result, and then sack Manning they will not solve the dire situation they are in. Manning was a successful manager with Bristol City. After his departure they are still in the top 10. Why hasn't he had success with his home city club? Because the rot in the club is higher up the food chain and until that is acknowledged and corrected, nothing will change.

  14. CLOSE!published at 21:34 GMT 5 November

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

QPR sub Karamoko Dembele is unplayable at the moment, driving in off the right flank, sending defenders one way and another and getting to the byeline before firing in a cross-shot from an acute angle which could have gone anywhere, but flashes across the face of goal.

Saints are wobbling here as they try to see out a first win in six games.

Four minutes have been added on at the end of this one.

  16. SUBSTITUTION & YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:33 GMT 5 November

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Substitution for Norwich and not a great sign for Jeffrey Schlupp.

He's clearly pulled a hamstring and handles the ball to stop a Sheffield Wednesday attack.

Schlupp receives treatment and his final contribution is to be cautioned for the handball - no sympathy from referee Ed Duckworth there.

Jakov Medic is on for the Canaries.

  17. CLOSE!published at 21:32 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

    Is that the chance?

Terry Devlin's brilliant reverse pass finds Conor Chaplin in the Red Dragons box. If he was in form he'd finish it without a second thought but he is not clinical and gets crowded out with the ball deflected behind for a corner.

  18. Postpublished at 21:31 GMT 5 November

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Bailey Cadamarteri drives into the Norwich box but is forced wide and his shot is easily saved by Vladan Kovacevic.

You can feel some tension from both sets of fans.

  19. CLOSE!published at 21:29 GMT 5 November

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

Pompey back on the attack but Conor Chaplin's fierce effort from just outside the box rises over Arthur Okonkwo's crossbar.
