Ibrahim Cissoko has caused Sunderland problems all afternoon and now he's rattled the crossbar with a superb effort which had Anthony Patterson beaten all ends up.

It's the Pilgrims who are sniffing a first win of the campaign, rather than Sunderland looking at a fifth.

  3. goal

GOAL - Blackburn 3-0 Bristol Citypublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 14 September

    Yuki Ohashi (70 mins)

    Rovers rampant!

Yuki Ohashi has taken to English football like a duck to water and the forward now has five goals in seven league and cup appearances.

It's another brilliant finish from the Japanese forward after some nifty footwork.

Blackburn up to second as it stands.

    Game over in this one.

Wigan have scored their third goal against Bristol Rovers thanks to Thelo Aasgaard, who makes it 3-0. Hang on to this Shaun Maloney will have his second win of the season.

Elsewhere, Stevenage have scored twice to take a 2-0 lead against promotion chasers Barnsley, thanks to Elliott List and Carl Piergianni. Manager Alex Revell will be very happy with that.

Peterborough have also equalised against Lincoln to make it 1-1. Kwame Poku's strike sends the Imps down from third to fitfh in the League One table.

Notts County have completed the comeback at EFL newcomers Bromley.

The Magpies had trailed 2-0 inside six minutes, but second-half substitute Alassana Jatta's clipped finish has made it 3-2. As it stands they will leapfrog above Doncaster into top spot.

Gillingham lead unbeaten Tranmere but will play the last 29 minutes and bits with 10 men after midfielder Ethan Coleman was shown a second yellow card.

Hakeeb Adelukan's first goal for Salford has levelled matters against Cheltenham, and there's more misery for 10-man Morecambe.

The bottom side look likely to remain pointless as Lyle Taylor has given Colchester a 3-1 lead.

  7. goal

GOAL: Watford 1-1 Coventrypublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 14 September

    Tom Dele-Bashiru (66 mins)

    Back in it...

Coventry had come close to adding a second on numerous occasions but they have been pegged back.

Giorgi Chakvetadze is the architect as he glides down the left and crosses low for Tom Dele-Bashiru to tap in at the far post for his first goal in nearly nine months.

Can they go on and win it now?

  8. Ohashi impressing as Rovers double advantagepublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 14 September

    Blackburn 2-0 Bristol City

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Ewood Park

    Ewood erupts!

I said Blackburn needed more precision in the final third and they’ve immediately shown that. Superb work by Tyrhys Dolan, winning the ball inside his own half and carrying it all the way to set up Yuki Ohashi for his fourth of the season already.

Ohashi has never played for Japan and previously would have failed to get a work permit. But he’s shown his value so far and underlined his quality in blue and white.

Liam Manning has made a triple sub for Bristol City, they need to get the next goal or this game is gone.

  9. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 14 September

Aynsley Pears makes a great double save from Scott Twine to stop Bristol City getting back into this one.

  12. Postpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 14 September

    Plymouth 1-1 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

We just need to steady things down, we need to bring on Alan Browne.

We need him in there, we need to get a hold of the game again.

  13. Saddlers and Bantams serving-up an entertaining contestpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 14 September

    Walsall 1-1 Bradford

    Adam Whitty
BBC Sport at the Bescot Stadium

I feared a tough afternoon after some soggy and lukewarm chips in the press box, but we've had sunny skies and an entertaining match between these two League Two strong starters.

Walsall will rue a five-minute period where they could have been 3-0 up, but instead start the second half level.

Taylor Allen opened the scoring for the hosts from the spot, before Nathan Lowe had two golden opportunities to go further clear.

Bantams striker Olly Sanderson made him pay though, with a goal on the break for the Bantams towards the end of the half.

You can see why these teams have started so well.

On a side note, anyone got some salt and ketchup?

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:18 British Summer Time 14 September

    Watford 0-1 Coventry

Sky Blues keeper Oliver Dovin is called into action again as Moussa Sissoko drives into the box before unleashing a shot, which the keeper saves.

I have no idea how we have still had only the one goal - and that was after four minutes.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:17 British Summer Time 14 September

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Preston

Emmanuel Latte Lath almost gives Middlesbrough the lead once again after he nets Neto Borges's cross but the flag is up for an earlier offside.

Groans across the Riverside Stadium from home fans that are probably still seething about that late first-half equaliser.

  16. Postpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 14 September

    Blackburn 2-0 Bristol City

The away side make a triple change as they look to try and find a way back into this game.

Forward Anis Mehmeti is one of the three introduced to the action.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:16 British Summer Time 14 September

    Watford 0-1 Coventry

Watford's Yasser Larouci is denied by Oliver Dovin at one end before Eilis Simms is denied his second at the other end by Daniel Bachmann after an exchange of passes with Ephron Mason-Clark.

Absolutely no let-up in the mayhem

  18. 'Good start to second-half by Watford'published at 16:15 British Summer Time 14 September

    Watford 0-1 Coventry

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

They love attacking towards the Rookery End and they have started well here, Watford.

I think they’re trying to target Coventry City’s full backs with crosses to the back post.

It’s been a good start to the second-half from Watford - much better.

  19. Postpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 14 September

    Plymouth 1-1 Sunderland

    Jed Penberthy
    BBC Radio Devon commentator

Plymouth have been commanding, they have been dominant since the break.

Its gone down as a Daniel Ballard own goal but take nothing off Morgan Whittaker he struck it well.

    It was a fantastic strike.

Notts County were 2-0 down at Bromley inside six minutes but Dan Crowley's deflected strike has pulled them level shortly after the break.

Samson Tovide has put Colchester 2-1 up at 10-man Morecambe, and Cheltenham have broken the deadlock at Salford through Ethon Archer.

And Carlisle have pulled back a two-goal deficit at home to Fleetwood thanks to Charlie Wyke' second goal.
