Sums up the Teessiders' day so far.

The Lions scatter the ball around the box trying to find a way through but QPR give them nothing and it goes out for a goal kick.

There's still so little between these two sides.

  12. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 21 September

    Norwich 3-1 Watford

That third Norwich goal feels like it has really put the Canaries in control of this game.

And it's not only a matter of how things look on the scoreboard, with the tempo of proceedings being slowed right down by the Canaries.

  13. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 21 September

    QPR 1-1 Millwall

There's a misunderstanding between QPR's Michael Frey and Millwall's Ryan Leonard on the touchline but the official is quick to confirm that it's a throw to the visitors.

The Lions use it to go on the attack. It doesn't threaten but as the ball gets cleared by substitute Paul Smyth there's more appeals for handball.

The replay shows it's just under his raised arms and on his chest but it's not far off. What an introduction to the game that could have been!

Kenny McLean helps it down the left channel to the overlapping Callum Doyle.

Doyle drives towards edge of box to cut back to Nunez who lets it roll across his body.

What a finish, what a goal, Bond gets a hand to it but its a great finish.

    Sunderland 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Adam Lanigan
BBC Sport at the Stadium of Light

Michael Carrick is deep in conversation with assistant Jonathan Woodgate down on the touchline.

As the hour mark goes by, it may be time for a change.

Boro have not been as good this half, especially going forward where they have been sloppy with their passing in promising positions.

The first change of the match for the home team as Japan youth international Koki Saito is swapped out for Paul Smyth.

  19. Postpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 21 September

    Sunderland 1-0 Middlesbrough

Heading towards the hour-mark, I wonder if Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick might look to make a change or two just to try and do something a little different.

Liverpool loanee Ben Doak is on the bench for Boro.

GOAL: Norwich 3-1 Watfordpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 21 September

    Marcelino Nunez (54 mins)

Norwich add to their advantage through Marcelino Nunez.

It's a wonderfully crafted goal, with the ball shifted down the left where Callum Doyle cuts the ball back for the Chile international.

Nunez does well to twist his body to finish first time with a side-footed effort off the post.
