  1. goal

GOAL Stoke 0-1 Norwichpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time

    Ante Crnac (45 mins)

    It's been coming....

Norwich have definitely had the lion (or should that be Canary) share of the play in this opening 45 and they cap off the half with a goal

Ante Crnac grabs his first in Yellow and Green by firing home at the near post.

  2. goal

GOAL Middlesbrough 0-2 Bristol Citypublished at 15:47 British Summer Time

    Yu Hirakawa (45+2 mins)

    Extraordinary!

The Japanese forward Yu Hirakawa has curled into the corner past Seny Dieng to double Bristol City's lead on the stroke of half-time with his first goal for the club.

Once again though it's Boro being guilty of conceding possession in a dangerous area as they try to build from the back.

What a time to get a second goal.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 1-0 Swansea

Blackburn are halfway to a fifth win from five at Ewood Park this season.

Tyrhys Dolan's early strike from a corner is the difference at the break, although Swansea have shown signs they are more than capable of getting themselves back into this one.

They did the double over Rovers last season, don't forget.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol City

Booking count is up to five. Luke McNally of Bristol City is cautioned after another foul on Ben Doak.

    Ah, can you believe it?!

Sheffield Wednesday have looked so bright on the counter but have handed it to Burnley. Yan Valery getting his feet mixed up at the back and Bournemouth loanee Jaidon Anthony pouncing on the ball.

It's a cool finish from him, one-on-one with James Beadle for his first goal of the season. The stuffing has been completely knocked out of the home supporters.

Burnley have controlled possession, and no doubt will continue to do so. Call me a bit cynical but with the quality that they have, I’m not sure they’ll allow Wednesday to get back into this one.

  6. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol City

Boro pressing for an equaliser but Aidan Morris' dangerous cross-shot into the goalmouth is hacked clear by the City defence.

Can the hosts get back on terms in the four minutes and change before the break?

  7. Postpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time

    QPR 1-1 Portsmouth

These two are really going at each other.

This time Paul Nardi in the QPR goal has to save from Christian Saydee.

  8. 'From out of absolutely nowhere'published at 15:42 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-1 Burnley

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Burnley capitalised on the mistake, from out of absolutely nowhere!

It fell for Anthony, who was through on goal, a good finish.

He took it really nicely, tucked it into the corner.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol City

A fourth caution of the game, this time it's for Bristol City as Ross McCrorie has his name taken by Sam Allison after a foul on Ben Doak.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time

    Millwall 0-0 Derby

A first-half substitution for Derby with Ryan Nyambe having to come off to be replaced by Kane Wilson.

  11. Postpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time

    QPR 1-1 Portsmouth

QPR almost back in front as Ilias Chair breaks through but Nicolas Schmid makes the save for Portsmouth.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:39 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 1-0 Swansea

Swansea back on the attack at Ewood Park as Matt Grimes swings in an inviting free-kick which Brazilian Ronald can't quite head on target, nodding past Blackburn keeper Aynsley Pears' post.

  13. goal

GOAL Sheff Wed 0-1 Burnleypublished at 15:39 British Summer Time

    Jaidon Anthony (37 mins)

A statement of intent at the top!

Scott Parker's side are heading to the Championship summit.

Jaidon Anthony takes advantage of a mix up at the back and calmly slots the Clarets in front.

Against the run of play somewhat, but the travelling fans won't care about that.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:37 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol City

Luke Ayling plays the ball into space for Liverpool-loanee Ben Doak to blaze down the Middlesbrough right, glide into the box and unleash a fierce shot which brings a good save out of Bristol City keeper Max O'Leary before the ball is hacked away by his defence.

  15. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol City

Another sight of goal for Emmanuel Latte Lath after being played in by Rav van den Berg but the Middlesbrough frontman can only fire wide of Max O'Leary's goal once again.

It's been pretty much all Boro, bar Bristol City's goal, which owed much to the hosts' dilly-dallying at the back, it must be said.

  16. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time

    QPR 1-1 Portsmouth

Karamoko Dembele already has a goal for QPR, now he nearly gets an assist.

Dembele finds Jimmy Dunne but the shot is wide.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:34 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Burnley

Few chances to get the crowd going so far in south Yorkshire, but this was a good one!

Barry Bannan's free kick lands on the head of his Sheffield Wednesday teammate Ike Ugbo, but the resulting header doesn't trouble James Trafford in the Burnley goal.

  18. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time

    Millwall 0-0 Derby

The Millwall boss Neil Harris mentioned in the week about how, based on statistics, they should be fourth in the Championship.

Well, based on statistics they should be in front against Derby - but they're not.

Ryan Leonard and George Honeyman have both had decent openings but the closest we've come to Macauley Langstaff seeing his effort hit the post.

I'm a grassroots referee in my spare time so maybe little surprise I can be a bit more sympathetic towards the officials.

Assistant on the far side to the dugouts has a real job on his hands for the first half. The low, autumnal sun has yet to drop below the stands so he's blinded and running down the touchline with one hand shielding his eyes from the glare.

Anybody got a spare pair of shades for him?

  20. Postpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time

    QPR 1-1 Portsmouth

You have to go back to 1961 for Portsmouth's last win at Loftus Road but they've got themselves level having gone behind following an error by goalkeeper Nicolas Schmid.

QPR had threatened a second before the Pompey equaliser and even at this stage of the season both sides know the importance of facing a fellow struggler.
