  1. goal

GOAL Middlesbrough 0-1 Bristol Citypublished at 15:27 British Summer Time

    Anis Mehmeti (27 mins)

Against the run of play, Bristol City lead at the Riverside again!

It's a lovely finish too as Anis Mehmeti collects a pass from Jason Knight after he had pounced on a Boro mistake, works some space and picks his spot from 12 yards to beat Seny Dieng.

City have won on six of their last nine visits to Middlesbrough - could they possibly make that seven in 10?

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time

    Stoke 0-0 Norwich

First chance of any note at Stoke, and it's the away side who have forced the issue.

A strong stop from Viktor Johansson stops Marcelino Núñez from giving the Canaries the advantage.

  3. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time

    Millwall 0-0 Derby

Millwall v DerbyImage source, PA Media

    Close for Millwall.

Macauley Langstaff thumps an effort against a post following some great approach play.

Milwall looking the more likely at the moment.

    Blackburn 1-0 Swansea

Swansea have another attempt on goal as Harry Darling's grasscutter from a free-kick is gathered by Rovers keeper Aynsley Pears.

Boro on the front foot still but Aidan Morris has cracked a shot wide of the target from the edge of the box,

Sheffield Wednesday take on BurnleyImage source, PA Media

Early days but it's looking quite open here at Hillsborough. Djedi Gassama's pace is causing Burnley issues at the back. He's twice gone down in the box but neither were anywhere near being given but he's stretching Burnley's defence to the limit.

For the Clarets, Zian Flemming is in for the injured Lyle Foster. Without their focal point, it looks like the Dutchman is the furthest forward of a false nine but it's defensively where they're being pushed.

Wednesday's counter is working very well indeed for Danny Rohl, but can they keep it up?

  8. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-1 Portsmouthpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time

    Freddie Potts (18 mins)

    Pompey are level!

Freddie Potts restores parity for the visitors.

Callum Lang supplies the pull back and Potts does the rest for his first goal of the season.

Nicolas Schmid in the Portsmouth goal will be relieved after his earlier error had led to QPR going ahead.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:18 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

    It remains goalless, just...

Finn Azaz drives forward before finding Emmanuel Latte Lath who fizzes a low strike past Max O'Leary but also past the base of the upright.

Nakhi Wells had seen a flick blocked in the goalmouth at the other end second before.

    Entertaining stuff.

  10. Postpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Burnley

A lovely gesture from the Hillsborough crowd before kick off by the way, who rose as one for a minute's applause for former Sheffield United defender George Baldock, who passed away earlier this month.

  11. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time

    Millwall 0-0 Derby

A relatively quiet start to this one.

Ryan Leonard's struck an effort wide for Millwall but that's it for now.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Finn Azaz is the third player from Middlesbrough to be booked... inside 15 minutes.

  13. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 1-0 Swanseapublished at 15:13 British Summer Time

    Tyrhys Dolan (13 mins)

    It's been coming...

Tyrhys Dolan puts the seal on Blackburn's bright start with the opening goal, pouncing on a loose ball from a Todd Cantwell corner to fire into the ground and into the net - possibly going in off Pape Gueye on the way in.

The last time Rovers won five straight home games to begin a campaign they won the Premier League... what can they do this season?

  14. Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Burnley

Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl was 26 when these two last met in the league in 2016, and the youngest manager in the division has seen his side start brightly against the side aiming to be top of the tree later this afternoon.

Djeidi Gassama gets into a strong position for the hosts, but Bashir Humphreys gets his foot in to force a corner.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Sam Allison reaches for his pocket yet again, a second booking for Boro from the second foul they have conceded inside nine minutes. Luke Ayling has his name taken this time.

One to keep an eye on.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:10 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 0-0 Swansea

More bright stuff from Blackburn as Tyrhys Dolan is found by Lewis Travis in midfield and drives forward before lashing a strike over Swansea keeper Lawrence Vigouroux's crossbar.

  17. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-0 Portsmouthpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time

QPR lead and the visitors won't want to see this again.

Portsmouth goalkeeper Nicolas Schmid comes out of his area and heads a clearance away but it falls at the feet of Karamoko Dembele and he lobs it back into the net.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:08 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Boro on the attack, seeking to reverse their fortunes at home to Bristol City.

Aidan Morris threads a ball through for Finn Azaz but he can only fire past the base of Max O'Leary's post.

All four sides of Hillborough rise to their feet for a minute's applause for former Sheffield United player, George Baldock.

A city united to pay their respects.

  20. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 0-0 Swansea

Blackburn have won all four home games in the Championship and are seeking to make that five right out of the blocks today.

Tyhryhs Dolan's cross is flicked on by Ryan Hedges but the recalled Todd Cantwell can't quite get on the end of it at the back stick.

Positive start for Rovers after consecutive defeats, though.
