All six Premier League games between Wolves and Crystal Palace at Molineux have been won by a two-goal margin – Wolves’ three wins have all be 2-0, while the Eagles have won 2-0 twice and 3-1 once.
Crystal Palace have won six of their last seven Premier League games against Wolves (L1), as many wins as they’d managed in their previous 20 league matches against them (D4 L10).
Wolverhampton Wanderers are winless in nine Premier League games this season (D2 L7). They’ve only had a longer winless start to a top-flight season once, going 14 games in 1983-84.
Crystal Palace’s Premier League games this season have seen the fewest goals of any side (6 for, 11 against), while Wolves’ games have seen the most goals (37). Palace’s last three games have all ended 1-0 (W1 L2), while Wolves haven’t had a game end 1-0 since April against Bournemouth.
Wolves have conceded 25 goals in nine Premier League games this season, just the third side to ship 25+ at this stage of a campaign along with Southampton in 2012-13 (26) and Fulham in 2018-19 (25).
Crystal Palace have lost just two of their last 22 Premier League matches against teams starting the day in the relegation zone (W11 D9) but one of those defeats was in their most recent such match against Everton in September.
Wolves have lost their last five home Premier League matches, last enduring a longer home losing run in the league between January and April 2012 (nine). Only four previous teams have lost their opening five home games in a Premier League season: Portsmouth in 2009-10, Bolton in 2011-12, Newcastle in 2018-19 and Burnley in 2023-24.
Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has been involved in 53 shots in the Premier League this season (37 shots, 16 chances created), with only Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer (54) having more shots and chances created combined.
Matheus Cunha has scored in 15 Premier League matches for Wolves but only ended on the winning side in three of them (D3 L9). Among players to have scored in 15 games, only Dean Windass (also 20%) has as low a win ratio as Cunha in Premier League history.
Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored 16 goals in his last 20 Premier League starts for Crystal Palace. Mateta’s 17 Premier League goals in 2024 are the most by a Palace player in a calendar year.
